4/13/2025 1:37pm The better feature for you sounds like it will be the new charger. Pull your battery and put it on 80% mode for the winter. Giant has been including that feature in their admittedly flawed chargers for quite some time.

4/13/2025 1:36pm "Side entry battery" on the new Levo - Does this mean that it has a removable battery? Would be ideal to me, since those full power e-bikes are just above the weight limit of what my bikerack holds (is probably OK, but dumb to take any chances) - And I store the bikes in a cold shed all winter, and its not very fun bringing an several month unwashed bike indoors to charge it in winter. Removable battery would be perfect for both those reasons

4/13/2025 1:36pm I mean... the current Levo battery is removable with a 6mm allen in about 30 seconds... a quicker system would be nice but I wouldn't call it not removable as-is.

4/12/2025 11:11pm Thank you for not doing this as a slideshow... So much easier to simply scroll as opposed to look, click, and wait.. It should be interesting to see what else Odyssey brings to the table.. The Thunderbolt cranks on that Fairdale is something my DJ needs..

4/12/2025 10:52pm 20mm would make sense because I guess the world isn’t ready for a new axle standard or another proprietary hub

4/12/2025 2:57pm I would tell you to move to the US to enjoy 20mph at the top speed but that's terrible advice these days. The class 1 and 3 comment was made on April 1st, sooooo I'll believe it when I see it. Also, using all throttle on a 840 battery won't get you that far when Surrons have over 3100wh.

4/12/2025 1:55pm What do you mean baby a long travel rig? Have you seen what material gravity race bikes have been made from for the last........10 years? I've seen more catastrophically broken alloy bikes in that time, and Pivot/Santa Cruz customers just plain don't want Aluminium anyway

4/12/2025 1:52pm Some shocks may not go all the way to the end. Have you measured how far from the dust wiper to the o-ring is?

4/12/2025 1:50pm If you've really got 5mm to the o-ring, you've got something weird going on. There should be roughly a 1.5-2 o-ring's width between the end of the stanchion and the o-ring. Like, the equivalent of 5% sag on the markings. One guess is that maybe someone installed travel reducers in your shock after it was manufactured. See the service manual page 51: https://www.sram.com/globalassets/document-hierarchy/service-manuals/ro… There are 2 possible travel reducer locations, the air can one is pretty obvious and easy to check and remove if needed. It looks like you can check if the eyelet travel reducer is like 1 more...

4/12/2025 1:40pm 5000ft vertical in trail mode on my Vala, I don’t want or need to zoom round with 100nm, quite happy with my dialled down 60, still able to put in plenty of effort. E-bikes have predictably become an arms race for power/torque.

4/12/2025 1:24pm Noideamtber is correct. Also cues is cheap and existing technology, it's not exactly a new design, just a new product to streamline the SKU's. There is no way they're investing all the money to go backwards and offer an expensive wireless drivetrain, with a cassette that isn't even hyperglide+ standard,
