Its better news than that. Apparently theres a rolldown. Where if a rider getting a top 5 already has qualification through their Elite team, the spots roll down. So from this one today (after the elite team status is finalised by UCI), elite men in 6th/7th/8th today (at a minimum) will end up Golden ticket spots. And some roll down in other categories too

I would assume that roi for Nukeproof was not bad. Back then ist was just a cheap china brand, and it became really popular, at least here in EU. And in general, whatever has a Sam Hill name on it, people will buy. The riders with the money now (around 30-40) have watched all the earthed videos, for them, he will always be a legend. There's lots of roi to be made if you know what you are doing as a company.

Adidas, are you insane? The reason FiveTen is so big in MTB is because of Sam Hill. He literally made you in this industry. It’s insane they wouldn’t support him for the rest of his career. As for SRAM, I mean come on. How much has Sam given you in the exposure and advertising? One of the greatest riders ever to race, and in multiple areas of MTB. Both these brands should be ashamed.

There's 8 more wildcard team entries per race plus 3 more national cyling federation entries. Also pretty sure every single person you mentioned Rachel/Gwin/ Amaurry can race if they wanted to given their status. Now I don't agree with some of the rules too, but at least try reading them?

There's no reality where Rachel Atherton doesn't get to race with the exception of something like not getting her paperwork done in time. If it's known she wants to go between the tape, her team is either an instant lock for a wildcard entry or GB is putting her in. No question.

I've got a solution to this whole mess: Rachel Atherton: please announce that you are seeking entry into the first UCI Downhill World Cup at Bielsko Biala. Currently, Continental Atherton has 619 points and is on the bubble. But with Kolb off to another team, they don't get to keep those points, right? Right? Do Charlie Hatton's points get Rachel in? I'm not sure I'm right with what I'm proposing here--but if I am, and Atherton Racing isn't eligible--I'd love to see Chris Ball explain why Rachel Atherton is not allowed to race.
