8/24/2026 3:31am Having come from riding bikes for the last 5 years with AR values in the 50-55% range, I really, really like that my Vessel out of the box with a floating brake arm, linkage driven single pivot, sits at 70ish AR, and is adjustable in both directions. I don’t know the exact numbers but have been adjusting the link to increase AR, as I feel that there’s a balance to strike depending on the rider and I personally prefer a higher 75-90% AR to settle the bike down. In really steep stuff my Madonna is a little nose heavy, the...

8/23/2026 7:12pm Given the talent, the talent in opposition to Hattie, and the hard yards she's done, it's pretty bloody well earned!

8/19/2026 6:35am Man I hope that the new enduro sells super well, I couldn't care less about specialized but if a non ebike in that travel range sells well it should wake the industry up that there is actually demand for those bikes.

8/19/2026 3:15am Again it’s you who made and typed out those assumptions for the world to see. Again. So now 3 x the two of you have been spewing misogynistic garbage to do what? Define who is allowed to make an offhand comment in good conscience and goes out of there way to make sure said comment isn’t misread. The “if that’s a pursuit of hers” was specifically made to try to avoid the likes of someone like you doing exactly what you are doing. But I guess next time I’ll write a large disclaimer that I am in no way telling...

8/17/2026 8:35pm I said " we haven't seen a long travel single crown 32" fork yet," and I can see how that might have been unclear. What I meant to communicate was "Gee, that black RSU fork sure doesn't look like a Fox 32 or Neko's crazy loctite Fox 40, which are the only 32" Fox forks we've seen so far. I wonder what RSU fork that is. It sure looks like a Fox, and it could even be a dedicated long travel single crown 32" fork from Fox, which would be newsworthy because 32" bikes and products from the big brands...

8/17/2026 8:29pm I don’t understand the point of the gram counting e-bike specs. Like, you have a motor and all you’re doing is compromising the bike’s capability just to save a little weight.

8/17/2026 8:29pm Here's another example of a damper that switches ports in/out for damping adjustment. This is from a Koni gas/hydraulic 4wd shock: I've played around with designs to try and fit it into a bike damper, but it's difficult to downsize. You can see @SIMONS.LAB have put a lot of work into that, moving the return path to another tube definitely helps.

8/17/2026 8:28pm Finn is freshly 27. Which is why no one is talking about him retiring. Tahnee is early 30s. Which is when most mtb pros have traditional started to look at hanging it up. And again I personally think she had a lot more reasons to stick around racing a few years. Including the fact that if she wants kids she can family plan with her doctors to do it later than most women traditionally have been able to. The big 26 as you call it means women have a ton of options. And I’m personally grateful of this since my...

8/16/2026 4:33am First up, thank you to the Vital team for presenting our product here! Since a few questions came up, I wanted to chime in and clarify a bit what we mean by the Tune Adjusters. As @Slavid666 analyzed pretty much spot-on, the High-Speed Tune Adjuster changes the port configuration underneath a non-preloaded tapered shim stack. With each adjuster position, one additional port is closed off, changing the hydraulically loaded area of the stack. The shim stack itself stays exactly the same, but the way it is loaded changes, which therefore changes the slope of the resulting force-velocity curve. That is...

8/16/2026 4:17am If you want to have more than one child past the age of 35 and any past 40 there is generally a good amount of effort involved to hedge your bets. Over the age of 35 is technically a “geriatric pregnancy”. However it is a route that is increasingly common especially for women with high end careers like tahnee. There are also plenty of career women who have traditionally taken a break from their careers or effectively retired in their late 20s and early 30s to start a family. Rachel was around tahnee’s current age when she hung it up...

8/15/2026 5:10pm I've seen the exact same thing in 40's multiple times as well - if you've cleaned, greased and torqued the bolts correctly then the only other thing I would try is tightening the headset further - that is a super common issue where there bearings don't have quite enough tension and causes a lot of issues so its worth a try.Tighten the preload enough to make the steering tight then back it off just enough that its smooth to turn again. It's really hard to overtighten a headset bearing but you would be surprised at how much movement and flex...
