As a matter of fact, @TheSuspensionLabNZ mentioned that a few posts ago and had some strongly worded thoughts on the matter: "Whatever you do, and before someone else suggests it do NOT wipe the grease out of the air spring - that will only make things worse." TLDR this customer's fork is too progressive already, and wiping out the grease will make the negative air spring volume even bigger and make the fork more progressive.

Surprised nobody mentioned it already since it's a fox fork but have you opened up your air spring to see if there is not a 1inch tick glob of grease on top of the air spring top cap ? Edit: my bad, missed the suspensionlabnz post that mentioned excess grease in the air spring

What do you mean amplify. Weight transfer gives you more grip. It only makes sense to have more braking power (i.e. bigger rotor) in the front. QED: literally every car on the road. If it has a rear weight bias (Porsche for example) or a near 50 50 split, the difference front to rear is smaller, but still present.

Romy 2.5 trail soft looks good. Not that big. Not any taller than an Albert, thats for sure. Excited to try this out in the rear paired with a Tacky Chan trail ultra soft in front. Tacky Chan works great in the rear also, but seemed to wear out a bit quick. I think dual Tacky Chans really is a "race" setup like Schwalbe says.

Picking up this thread after getting back from Whistler last weekend with some unorganized observations: Del Bocca Vista does in fact rip you guys were right Ho Chi Min is still goated Favorite lap on the first day when I was fresh was No Joke > Miss Fire > Delayed Fuse > Shomer Shabbos > Pumpkin Moon. The creekside tech is just in better shape and rides so well especially when you have the energy to push a bit and carry speed. Can't believe I haven't ridden No Joke before but I always take O-sin to get to the garbo...

Compared to 5-10 years ago, forks have evolved (or should that be EVOLved....) to have larger negative springs and and overall more progressive spring curve, which is much better in performance but does make them harder to get every last mm of stroke - its very common for the average rider to have 0 volume spacers in their forks vs 2 or 3 not too long ago. Especially if your fork is set to its longest travel option since they have the largest compression ratio in both the air spring and lowers. On top of that, the extra negative volume...

Having come from riding bikes for the last 5 years with AR values in the 50-55% range, I really, really like that my Vessel out of the box with a floating brake arm, linkage driven single pivot, sits at 70ish AR, and is adjustable in both directions. I don’t know the exact numbers but have been adjusting the link to increase AR, as I feel that there’s a balance to strike depending on the rider and I personally prefer a higher 75-90% AR to settle the bike down. Man I hope that the new enduro sells super well, I couldn't care less about specialized but if a non ebike in that travel range sells well it should wake the industry up that there is actually demand for those bikes.
