I wish someone ( @CascadeComponents? OneUp? WRP?) would make a bash guard that's just made of lead or steel. No unsightly straps and would offer more protection than the plastic ones we have now.

Updated HD6 seems like the most logical step for Ibis considering they've refreshed the Ripmo/Ripley, Ripley SL, and OSO in the past few years. I really hope they take the OSO platform/mentality and apply it to the updated HD7 with the ability to swap wheel sizes and modular dropouts.

A single bike quiver is somehow the easier choice, 140/150mm trail bike every time, and if I'm honest about what I ride the most the mix would be that same bike and something with drop bars and skinny tires. But sticking to MTB, for pure range of options I think a light, 120/130 trail bike with good geo and a 170 enduro bike built with bad intentions would be the way to go. This would cover everything from one off XC races, backcountry missions, enduro racing and park laps. Luckily, this is a false choice and a one car garage...

My mind is telling me an All Mountain bike (Ala Stumpy, Sentinel, Hightower) combined with a modular enduro/DH bike like the Orbea Rallon

As the title states I'm curious as to what your ideal (or real life) two bike quiver is? I always find myself struggling to optimize my garage for the different types of riding I do. For context I ride everything from mellow 25+ mile pedal days, hardpack single track, classic New England jank, bike park, and shuttle laps. I've taken...

I could give this a go, would back to back race sim laps be enough to provide accurate results? At least in a way that it is consistently one way or the other?
