@DServy sums it up nicely. I actually rode 3 bikes on this trip, 1 heavily modified enduro bike (XL nomad 6) and 2 dh bikes (L TR11 - L V10), so I got a pretty good chance to directly compare a 175/180 enduro bike to a dh bike. Further helping the comparison, is that WBP is in the worst shape this year for end of July then it has been for the last 6. Overall, I'd say that a DH bike at the bike park is the move. I can compare the rekon, magnotal, and trinotal, but not the dubnotal as it's a bit too light for me Just as a heads up, while the trinotal looks reminiscent of the forekaster, it has much shorter knobs. In terms of overall grip/rolling resistance, its forekaster > magnotal > rekon > trinotal. I really like the center tread on the magnotal, but the sideknobs don't quite reach forekaster levels of grip

Thinking about this today but surely Jill Kintner deserves a little more than just a 'oh she won for the tenth year in a row' in the press release for winning air DH ten freaking years in a row? Rename the women's Air DH the Kintner Air DH, retire the number one plate from Air DH and put it up in the rafters of the GLC, something?

Overheard at the finish line: He had a tip over in practice and put his arm out to catch himself and his shoulder dislocated a bit. He tried to give it a go in finals but was just too much pain.

Aletha Ostgaard goes 1st in women's Seeding at US Nationals by almost 4 seconds over Kailey Skelton, with Maylei Leaneagh in 3rd. In men’s Seeding, Ryan Pinkerton, Bode Burke and Nate Kitchen finished 1/2/3, with Ryan just 0.099 second ahead of Bode. The top 10 were separated by just over 5.1 seconds.
