Favorite thing is he’s always claiming no hype, but then everything he does is hyping up his own products without anything backing that they’re better. I’ve ridden a banshee with his link in shock and then one that was stuck, and there was not a massive difference and I thought the one with what I like.

I feel like you answered your own question when you said " a ton of people already do it for SXS, boats, and motorcycles." If the SXS, boat, and motorcycle people are making money by financing their overpriced toys, why would high-end bike companies not want to get in on the action with their overpriced toys? Yes, financing a high-end shiny ebike is completely unnecessary, unwise, financially imprudent, all of that. But so are cigarettes and gambling, and they're doing great!

Don't feel bad. Life is political. Politics isn't some small aspect of existence that can be sequestered into a couple days just before elections. It is literally everywhere all the time having huge impacts on people's lives. Bike materials are political. Trail access is political. The ability to afford a bike - and therefore the folding or flourishing of the mountain bike industry - is political. The existence of rural hospitals is political. Ebike motors are political. The efforts to reduce, reuse, and recycle plastics is political. Is there any sort of innovation in that lane brands should be looking...

Feels like that's the bitter end, right? Administration/receivership/bankruptcy is one thing, but it can lead to restructuring. Selling off all the physical assets via auction is another thing entirely. Although I suppose YT went through the auction process and they're back again.

Trust me, Porsche isn't in financial trouble. Like, not even remotely. They just strategically like to appear as if they are, for political- and lobbying reasons. Only slightly related rant: The automotive industry in Germany on a wider scale is once again trying to apply political pressure in order to achieve massive tax cuts, subsidies and erode labour protection laws...

Re: "Will we see any of the mega brands move to Avinox mid-term?" I agree that these price cuts are a direct consequence of Avinox eating everybody's lunch. But I don't think we'll see big brands starting to use Avinox, for compliance reasons. The one thing that draws consumers towards Avinox (- high power output) is basically also the reason...

I think you meant “kind of FUN geometry”. As a person who gets more than 100 bike park days a year, this is way more in line with how parkrats of all ages enjoy riding… ymmv
