9/3/2026 11:48am I can add a bit more being on the design team for this bike. We can do a better job at calling out the "why" in the short press release. There will be upcoming videos talking about it, but here it is from the design side of things. As bike designers we are constrained by the shape of the motor and battery. We can't change these designs. Riders are wanting bigger batteries (800wh in this bikes case). We also have great demand to fit more shocks, from inline, to the largest enduro and coil shocks. We have to have fork...

9/3/2026 11:41am I'm a pretty big Bafang motor fan. Have 2 Vitus E-Mythique bikes that have the M510. Both have over 1500 miles on them. The best thing is the ability to repair them yourself. They make them super easy to work on and parts are readily available (although you have to wait on them from overseas). Both of my motors have been through at least 1 if not 2 power distribution boards in the motor (all because of water ingress, not entirely their fault). The board is 15 bucks and takes about an hour to change. I keep one on the...

9/3/2026 11:39am People often blame motor resistance for the difficulty pedalling over the cut-off but IMO it's very little to do with that. It's more to do with your legs instantly having to double, triple or quadruple their output once the to motor drops. If you are riding at 24.99kmh with 150w of your own power and 350w from the motor (i.e. 500w in total) then once you hit 25kmh your are going to need to put that 500w+ by yourself to maintain that speed. The only motor on that graph that has enough resistance to cause an issue is the MGU...

9/1/2026 9:16am This has been a great read- I’ve been following along and watching the boxes of ‘me’ get ticked off.. almost a better understanding of the why I’m perceived the way I am. I definitely agree it’s a title you receive not one you give to yourself. I will add that I am thankful for mountain biking. It is and has been a ‘core’ and defining aspect of my life. Mental, physical, psychological, community- all of it.. Thanks for the ‘podcast’ fellas!

8/31/2026 3:29pm I’ve been on the MTe since May and loving it. Ran it with a 27.5 out back but left the flip chip in the 29er position during a bike park trip to Angel Fire and it ripped. Yeti doesn’t suggest this particular setting, but I had no problem with it. I’ve recently swapped the stock bars for some 55mm bars and really liking the feel, especially with a 29er out back. I’ve also played around with the various progression settings but keep coming back to the 14% as my go to. Slapped my Push coil on it for one day...

8/27/2026 1:00pm Finally. Bigger front rotors have never made any sense to me. The natural weight transfer induced by braking will make your front brake naturally more powerful, why would you amplify that effect with a bigger front rotor?

8/27/2026 12:00am I really enjoyed that one. Looking back, the early years of EWS really were something special. Something to keep in mind with the recent Crankworx announcement is they were also instrumental in the founding of the original EWS series in 2013. Good reason to be optimistic. The Enduro Mountain Bike Asociation (EMBA) was formed to established the EWS and became the de facto governing body of the new series. EMBA itself had four founding members: Chis Ball, Enrico Guala, Fred Glo, and Darren Kinnaird (Crankworx GM) and they would become the four original EWS board members. The origin story I...

8/26/2026 12:47pm The past two years has seen Yeti steadily expand its Sixfinity suspension platform to more models. We figured this new era of bikes was worthy of discussion, so we’ve created this forum for riders to compile questions, get answers, provide setup tips, and resolve issues. Below is an overview of the Sixfinity design, plus details, assets, and Vital's coverage of...

8/25/2026 9:40am Fresh podcast for everyone! After last week's announcement that WBD wouldn't host Enduro World Cups in 2027, we wanted to chat about how we got to this point, and what the future could/should look like for elite-level enduro racing. Enjoy! (Thumb photo cred: the great Sven Martin)

8/25/2026 9:29am Re: R.I.P. Enduro World Cups show. As you all said, enduro is certainly not dead, especially at the regional level. One point that wasn’t brought up, maybe because y’all didn’t watch it, was the coverage Red Bull provided years ago before the WBD takeover with On Track. As a recovering XC racer/enjoyer of long rides, that show is what originally got me interested in following enduro and entering regional enduro events. WBD tried to recreate a version of it last year, but it missed the mark, IMO. Red Bull also sort of recreated the concept with Race Tapes, which I...

Jason_Schroeder Added a new video Three days. 128 miles of trails. 21,000 ft of descending!
8/25/2026 8:54am With limited time and an endless amount of trails to explore, TR athletes Johny Salido and Trevor McCutcheon set out for a big weekend of e-biking in one of Colorado's most scenic riding destinations. While we find some of the more scenic riding we've done to have some jankiness when it comes to 90-degree switchbacks, the valley's mountain bike trails encourage speed with perfectly arched corners and ubiquitous flowy ribbons. Check out this new video and add some of these trails to the top of your list for your next riding trip! Producer: Matchstick Productions Director: Myles Trainer and Murray...
