Whiteface is a large resort, and I’m pretty sure all the oils and waxes from winter sports every winter does a lot more damage then cutting 32 trees. I just can’t understand how a tree is worth 50k, just because it is on state land. Next you are in placid or the near area, look how many massive houses are being built, clearing at least an acre of land of trees just a house that will only be used for maybe 2 months out of the year, but I guess it’s on private property, so it doesn’t matter.

All those other models make sense but Trek is seriously going to discontinue the Session? What happens to Trek Factory Racing? Also surprising since the Session is one of the DH bikes I see the most in my neck of the woods. It seems like they sold well...for a DH bike.

I have no issue with software teams using "agile" in whatever the original context was. I have issues with what it became in the corporate world. Over my year long in-house counsel contract, I think I attended 4-5 mandatory "agile" training seminars, and it featured heavily at our multi-day retreat. Just checked out geo charts for both bikes, and I would definitely recommend the medium V10 for you. If you're comfy on the S3 Stumpjumper with a 445mm reach, the medium V10 can be setup with as low as a 444mm reach. You 100% don't want a DH bike with a shorter wheel base than your Trail bike lol

I recently swapped forks out on one of my bikes. During the install, I lightly tightened the hose clamp bolt, making a mental note to snug it down after I'd finished installing and aligning the brake caliper (to be able to pull all the play out of the hose). It took me 2 rides to realize that the rattling coming from my normally quiet bike was because sure enough, I did NOT remember to snug down that hose clamp bolt after all. At least it didn't come off on the trail. 🙄
