9/15/2026 5:23pm "micro dyno" for your race truck or small shop. $6,800 USD. PR below LABA7 Launches MICRO Shock Dyno for Trackside Testing Built for race teams, service trucks, and workshops that could not fit a dyno before. VILNIUS, Lithuania - Racing teams can now test dampers at the track more easily, on a machine that occupies just 0.14 m2. LABA7 launches the MICRO Shock Dyno, a tabletop machine with lab-grade testing quality. It runs from a standard single-phase socket and holds velocity as low as 1 mm/s throughout the cycle. “Until now, a shock dyno meant a room. If teams could...

9/15/2026 5:19pm They were at a trade show earlier (Maybe sea otter?), and went quiet after that. Saw recently on their IG that tires are on the water and should be on sale soon.

9/15/2026 5:17pm DVO does their manufacturing and assembly in their own division within the Suntour factory. Suntour is also a massive supplier (not just to DVO) of forged components like crowns, lowers, shock bridge/reservoir mounts, as well as various tubes. Speaking to Bryson earlier this year he mentioned DVO has been helping Suntour with some R&D. He didn't elaborate, but it wouldn't be surprising if there's some collaboration going on with their increased presence on the race circuit.

9/15/2026 5:16pm You can drop a Jade DH compression assembly straight in to a Voro so 99% of the shock is still Voro. Even the BV piston is the same, the main thing is a different low speed adjuster design and adding a High Speed adjuster to the shim stack

9/15/2026 5:14pm Hey man, you are derailing the fuck out of this thread. This thread is for "tech rumors and innovation". If you want to have pointless pedantic arguments with people, make your own thread for that.

9/15/2026 5:13pm Are you serious? This is pushing cancel culture to whole new level if so. You may not like him, but unless he is breaking the rules of forum he has every right to post here just like you and me. If he bothers you so much just use the ignore function.

9/15/2026 5:11pm I have loved vital for its community and often thought about the quality of the discussion compared to how dougal has burnt threads and almost whole sites to the ground other places. When I saw him posting here the other week I kept an open mind, wondering if he’d read the room. I guess it’s his choice and the mods choice. If he wrecks some of my favourite long running threads here, and pushes away amazing contributors like Darren from Push, I’ll be really sad. I can see that impacting the ability for vital to have such great discussions with...

9/14/2026 2:23pm I like how Dak seems aware when his conversation starts going slightly negative and then he actively returns to something positive that he did in the race weekend. This is a sign of behind the scenes sports psychology at work.

9/13/2026 11:23pm I measured to approximately that point based on body position relative to a table. I’m not very tall. There is certainly some error in guessing CG height, but it’s +/- not inherently low. There are some inconsistencies in your numbers. For max braking with both brakes with μ of 0.5 the weight should be 53/47 rear to front. Additionally, the g’s that can be attributed to the rear wheel are always going to be equal to the fraction of weight on the rear wheel times μ. So if you’ve got 63% of your weight on the rear wheel in this...
