We love the World Cup series! This event is genuinely not intended to compete with this or any other event series. We have plans to add a New Zealand event in 2028, and a third southern hemisphere event to follow. Ultimately this will be a 3 round ‘off season’ series where riders have an opportunity to race year round and earn top prize money. This also gives fans an opportunity for more year round race coverage and broadcast.

Yeah it would mainly be used for diagnosing issues or validating a retune - In theory a dialed team would have tunes worked out in advance or have shocks ready to go, and you should have processes refined enough that you don't need to check that a rebuild worked properly. You wouldn't/shouldn't be experimenting with big changes on a race weekend but if you were someone that worked on a range of products for a wider range of people, or taking it to dedicated test weekends then it is something that could be super useful.
