There was always a weird sharing of the ProTaper trademarks for moto products and MTB products. Pure guess, but there could be something changing around that licensing/relationship. I believe it was Tucker Rocky (later Powersports) that held the TM for moto, but they were acquired by Turn 14 a little while back. Hayes had the MTB side, of course. Wait and see I guess.

This order suspension is temporary, and we will share more information in the coming weeks" Weird right?

Jakob had total shoulder reconstruction in Spain last December. Same doctor that repaired Angel's and several high profile athletes. We weren't even sure if he could race so to skip a few rounds then build, qualify, and crack a top 5 is insane. Dane stayed healthy all year. His P1 Q2 in Whistler didn't surprise me at all. He was 1 tenth of a second from getting through at LP in Q2 as were a lot of guys. Gutted for Rémi, dislocated elbow in Whistler after qualifying in Q1.

Jacob Jewett busted a top 5 at Whistler from a slower qualy & Dane qualified 3rd or 4th for a "What could have been?" run in drier conditions on his best course. Meh, might as well have chucked in some bro hymn too. 2 overly played songs slightly misappropriated. Anyway. Great race actually. Track worked well. Even a few line options in there! Gonna be interesting to see what happens to the older riders these next few seasons in both fields. Will top 10-15/20 still count for their sponsors? Harsh but true. The only thing that will stall the continued rise of young talent is a change to the junior category, which would be sad.
