FYI for anyone who follows or is interested in the Monster Pro Downhill Series: The next race in the series is in mid-May at New Jersey's Mountain Creek Bike Park. Last year at Mountain Creek, Aaron Gwin and Kailey Skelton won. In 2024 a couple of kids won: Asa Vermette and Erice Van Leuven. Here's the replay of the 2025 race for anyone who wants a look at this track:

Hopefully it's like a simple crash I had. Landed on my chest & strained so hard doctor said I tore lining in my throat/vocal chords & was coughing up blood but no puncture, just a single cracked rib. Healing vibes to the Wrecking Crew!

I had a phone call with the CEO and there were no other options on the table than that to leave. Worst part was that then following that they folded the team but I guess if I had of kept racing they wouldn't have. Anyways I think it happens more often than you think I know personally of some other riders who went through the same thing unfortunately.

Reminds me of my Patagonia Black Hole 55L duffel & the "stores in it's own pocket" advertising. 2 hernias & a torn tendon later, you have it put away with no plans of every "storing" it again. Guess we gotta wait for a video showing how it "stows"???

I’m sure femenists everywhere are looking forward to wbd’s doc on mtbing on your period. I’m sure it will be pretty tasteful tbh. I also think both redbull in the past and eso currently has done a good job promoting the ladies as athletes. But I think extra prize money or a prize from a sponsor for the winner, or 30 women in finals would be a much better way to celebrate these athletes than changing the time of the race and self promotion.
