1 hour ago Yes, but the Transmission 90 stuff is... not amazing. I like T-type drivetrains a lot, but their cable offerings are worse than the old 12 speed IMO.

7/4/2026 9:17am So a few things: First off, I feel like any intermediate or above mountain biker could benefit from data as I do believe there's just basic performance numbers that are decent enough targets that are worth aiming for. Even just getting the front and the rear to behave in a "mostly" balanced way would benefit so many riders. Putting data...

6/22/2026 10:08am they should use actual moto parts... because they are fucking eMotos. I hate those fucking bikes.

6/18/2026 5:38am I doubled down and bought two sets, one for the endurbro rig and one for the dh bike. Will I like them? who knows. Will I be able to pawn them off if I hate them? Probably.

6/18/2026 5:37am Not gonna lie, this is what I want out of enduro. Big days on cool trails that feel a bit more like you're messing around in the woods than riding a bike park/dh track. More of this!

6/15/2026 8:08pm Oh man, you got me. Guess I should take an icepack to my lever to get functioning again.

6/13/2026 8:15am Hottake, The new Q1 and Q2 formats are great and I much prefer it over rider protected status as its probably the most fair way to narrow the field down. Does it mean some really popular riders lose out? Yep. Does it also mean that seasonal consistency is more rewarded in WC overall standing points? Also yes. Seems odd to...

6/13/2026 7:16am That's also because Codes were god awful and the sram riders were so happy to get on an actual brake. I recently felt some older codes on some bikes I was dealing with and they were shockingly worse than I remembered. Say what you will about Shimano brakes, but they've been consistently good for a while.

6/6/2026 9:08pm Were you screaming from the rafters for the juniors to be the last one down on the hill last year or have you always been a hypocrite? I, for one, like watching bikes going down hill. I'm not particularly picky about much else.

6/6/2026 3:54pm It cannot be overstated how huge the women getting top billing in Leogang is. I just watched Vali’s YouTube from Loudenvielle and they’ve absolutely nailed it. I hope she can stay happy and overcome what must be insane pressure to be the last rider to drop on the day. Holy shit!

5/30/2026 9:39am Strong disagree. At the point where you are taking quali laps you know exactly where you're going and where the course is. Tape wouldn't have made it any different.

5/24/2026 2:42pm I won't give the years because I've honesty forgotten. Yeti SB95 - It was... Fine. Transition Scout V1 - Great bike, but I should have gotten the patrol instead Evil Wreckoning - Great that it was one of the first long travel 29" but as it turns out I'm not a huge fan of linkage driven single pivots. Scott Spark...

5/19/2026 5:58pm Here I was about to defend air shocks on shorter travel bikes, but after reading that it requires that much air ramp I agree… wtf. Is it 2019 transition sentinel all over again?

5/6/2026 10:16pm Thanks for your time! This made great listening on a training slog of a ride I was in the middle of. I've come to racing pretty late in life and I'm trying to figure out how to get my head in the game knowing that my racing "hobby" isn't going to amount to much. Your thoughts were super helpful and...

5/6/2026 9:28am my 2 cents after spending some time on the bike is that I really want to spend more time on the bike. A couple anecdotes here: I was surprised at how well it pedalled and the lack of heft that I was expecting after looking at it. After giving it back for a month I had to film on it with no time to get familiar again. First trail was a rapid North Van classic that I have ridden a bunch and I was immediately sending it. It was extremely poppy while still being planted, able to pull for all...
