1/4/2026 8:50am I read on the dreaded Facebook a while ago about changing the lever blade bearing on a hope v4 from a standard 8mm OD to something larger, to reduce the free strike, Ive some 10mm OD on order but wondering if anyone's tried it and has experience if it? Taa

6/30/2025 1:15pm I'm currently rebuilding/tweaking my nomad ready for the annual morzine trip, on inspection both v4 calipers are leaking on the inner big piston-so slight though but it's worried me enough to buy a rebuild kit-is this a known issue? The brakes are crazy good, 220mm magura discs on uberbikes eeb pads.

7/2/2024 10:14am I wouldn't class the shock on the stumpy as proprietary. It's a standard size.eye to eye so can be replaced with another readily available shock with same e2e.

6/28/2024 12:59pm Theres zero need for a 6 pot brake. I'd wager Shimano won't make one. There 4 pot is plenty powerful just needs refinements like pad contact and no wandering bite point of doom. A thicker rotor would be good from them though.
