9 hours ago Shit, Troy had a massive crash. 😮 He seems to be fairly OK as reported here: https://www.mtb-news.de/news/downhill-world-cup-2026-leogang-troy-brosn…

6/9/2026 9:04am What is with the rear end of the bike though? I thought I also saw BK running a non-production rear end on the Phoenix. Any idea what they are trying to achieve?

5/22/2026 2:03pm Downhill bikes are like nukes: if you want to be taken serious you need to own them, if you use them or not. 😉 Hoping that the downhill bike gets plenty of use and the nuke none.
iRider Added a reply to What frame brands are nicest to bearings? Should bearings and service be a consideration when buying a bike?
5/16/2026 1:20am The question is usually what causes the short bearings life? High flex frame designs and those with undersized bearings are some to avoid. If it is water/dirt ingress into bearings then it is a sealing and quality of the bearing issue. Here I have found that replacing the shitty Enduro bearings that come on many frames with something quality from...

3/17/2026 6:47am Same. I really want to see her fit and healthy for the rest of her career, she has such a sick style on a bike.

3/17/2026 6:46am FFS. I was so stoked when she won whip off last week and seemed to have brushed off the crash from last year. She's taken some heavy hits the last two years and I hope it doesn't take too much of a toll on her and she comes back from it even in just a regular life way. Beating the dead horse, the amount of life changing injury's the last couple of years creeping up have been hard to watch.

3/17/2026 6:45am It was streamed live on Youtube. I think the Pink site and Vital just forgot to announce it?

3/17/2026 6:44am Maybe. I hope she can keep it going into the WC season. She's a better rider than her results have indicated the last couple of years.

3/15/2026 1:40pm Maybe she thrives in a lower stress environment? Aren't her Crankworks efforts supported by her dad as a mechanic and her siblings are there as well? Maybe this is the environment she needs to feel comfortable?

3/15/2026 1:37pm So strange how Jenna can't seem to translate her Crankworx performances to WC racing ( I know it's a different field, but IIRC she was slower than riders like Lou and Sasha all season last year). 🤷♂️

3/14/2026 1:25am I think it was Eliana Hulsebosch that crashed in practice and therefore did not start. At least that was mentioned in the broadcast.

3/14/2026 1:18am People most likely move to electric moppeds before they move to bikes. I am still puzzled why electric scooters and Surrons are not more of a commuter thing in the US. I think in China they are.

3/14/2026 1:10am I would say no because you can get an optimal geometry (bar height, TT length, etc.) for all riders easier when you do not have to deal with packaging issues for being able to fit larger wheels into a XS frame.

3/14/2026 1:07am Counter argument: all sports that heavily rely on equipment have pretty strict rules around that equipment. I mean even if you just stay in cycling: different wheel sizes are different classes in BMX, road bikes are 28" and time trial bikes are heavily regulated but with an eye to accommodate small and tall riders.

3/14/2026 1:01am Where were you when the DH riders petitioned the UCI to ban skinsuits and make helmet peaks mandatory, basically stopping aero in the sport?
