“Physical effort and reward.” Is different for different people. In my friend group, I was the last hold out to finally get an Ebike. I was definitely snooty about them for a while until I got to try one. You know what’s great about them? Time management. As I’ve gotten older, there’s even more responsibilities. you're just late to the party, that's all I'm just back from 2 weeks in finale ligure, i'd say on each shuttle at least half of the bikes on the trailer had a motor

Do these numbers reflect ALL bike sales or just the sale of MTBs in Germany? Their cycling infrastructure is much, much better than most NA cities and cycling is actually a safe method of transportation. Are these numbers just being skewed as people switch to urban centric E-bikes as a preferred method of transportation? Also, it would seem that trail access in America is a concern that in some areas may steer people to analog MTBs still. Locally, it does seem like a DH bike and an emtb in the trail category is becoming more popular.

Great that you enjoy them! A crew is a big deal for sure and social aspect of bike riding can be as important as the activity itself.

Yet another DJI / Avinox / Amflow update (and correction) live from Sea Otter. When I asked about the relationship between DJI, Avinox, and Amflow, I was told they are entirely separate from one another. DJI incubated the motor program and then spun it off, branding it as Avinox. Amflow started as a proof of concept and was also spun off completely from both Avinox and DJI.
