Gwin wanted to get home to be with his Wife on mother's day and must have peaced out before the podium. Neko does look a bit uncomfortable being on a podium that wasn't his though haha
Might be one in the minority here, but I always like having a bit narrower field of view for videos like this. Having the nearly 180 degree vertical fov and extreme fish eye affect because of it is off putting to me, and part of the reason I hate 360 degree cameras being used for pov shots. Great riding and love the follow cam for the stage though!
The BMX kid from Bakersfield sure seems to know how to ride those slippery mud-covered NJ rocks.
It’s kind of the opposite of the GoPro effect in making things seem even steeper and narrower though I know that terrain IS steep.

Take a drink every time Rick says "really,really(warning alcohol poisoning may ensue). I had to laugh when Marc Beaumont said "you're right "ric and he replied "no on's ever said that before" 🤣.
Based on the contracts and which events are scheduled it looks like the last 3 of the year will again be Soldier Hollow, Whistler, and Lake Placid. Which means they didn't fix the issue in the schedule that will happen this year with trucks unable to make it from Whistler to Lake Placid in time.
C'mon Spomer Chilean chili would definitely have beans.

I have been living a lie
Lake Placid hosted XC in 2024 so I think this year is the last of their 3-year contract. I’ve heard rumors of Deer Valley in 2027.
They are already hosting an XC at Soldier Hollow in Utah starting this year. I don’t think they’d move it after year one or put another one ~10 miles down the road.
Does that mean rumors of a DH?!
Chili is meat stew with chilis as a primary flavoring component with or without beans.

Well... I guess when it comes to racing this question is one that has probably been left unanswered for way too long. Amazing that interviewers have held this until now, but it seems some racers were relieved to get to talk to someone about it.
I’d assume an XC/DH split between Soldier Hollow and DV (if the rumors come true).
