I’ve been riding a 9sp SmartShift Kavenz G2 set up as a 180/180 superenduro or 200/200 park bike for the past few seasons. There’s definitely a learning curve getting used to shifting slightly differently, and being able to shift while coasting and such. When I ride it consistently everything is fine, if I’m coming off a long period of not...

I refrained from saying anything about the recent Fox patent because everyone is getting so sensitive. Can’t even make a dick joke without Ballz getting upset.

53.5 lbs is a lot. WTH. I thought the Avinox motors were supposed to be light? That's worse than the Levo 4 which is a renowned porker.

I’d give that 0%. They would have to throw a lot of cash that they don’t have to lure him to a team with no established infrastructure and would be a wildcard team.

They have nothing wrong with their bikes. Like remove the brand from the frame and Im intrigued. But you put ari on it and I just hate it. Astroturfing, diapers and basic bikes to look like theyre apart of the same boat as Canyon or Specialized, then they just have this design… they just infuriate me lol.

Am I the only one that thinks using a bike diaper to hide pretty basic suspension is kinda lame. I guess it gets the people talking though.

Believe it or not, the DHR2 has been the fastest rolling Maxxis DH tire for a long time, faster than the DHF, Assegai, HR2, HR3, Shorty, everything. That's why Greg ran DHR2's front and rear (2.3 EXO casing, I think?) on his World Champs bike in Pietermaritzburg in 2013. It was a gamble to run such thin tires on the DH track, and he famously hit a rock and got a leak on the rear tire in his race run, such that it was completely flat within a minute of crossing the finish line. That was 13 years ago, so...

DHR2 for sure rolls faster then an assegai or hr3. The maxx grip dhr2 as a front tire does many of the same things well that the hr3 does well, to a slightly lesser extent and a faster rolling feel. I know it sounds crazy, but the 2.4 mg dhr2 is a slept on front tire for a 150ish trail bike. Now that the g2 dissector is out and available in mg... it would be tough to make a case for the dhr2 as a front, but if you're committing to side knobs well, the dhr2 will bite better once...
