Lots of people think it's just a twin link design. CBF is a formula. I have applied it to every layout you can think of. Look at my IG for examples of the others. DW, VVP, Lawill, Horst, and High pivots can all be tuned with CBF. https://www.instagram.com/chriscanfield_mtbsuspension/
It is very close to the upper low layout of the Vampire Fastarossa. But without balancing 3 travel settings, that allowed me to perfect this one with the perfect layout for an Enduro.
Vampire Fastarossa! Low pivot -Mid- and a high pivot. 150,175,205 travel. Built with a 170 and enduro drivetrain and dropper- and a DH fork for racing.
Well done! Suspension looks well laid out. Super clean construction. Not too many other bikes out there I would want to ride. But this would be one. Again- Excellent work.
Remember to mount the pulley wheel- as LOW as you can. You're mounted in the middle position in this picture. It will feel much better when that CBF is engaged!
I kinda love this..But have SO many questions. As a bike shop owner that rides a Current Jedi..Muletted with a +1deg headset and Canfield 155 cranks. A CBF Lithium "Enduro/Park build". And 3 Yeti's..As well as the Spec. Demo Van Halen bike. I am truly intrigued,. But would like to talk "Shop" one day if your into it. Lance has always been cool like that.
More bikes. I will keep buying these bikes and for those who don’t like the look of these thanks because it leaves more bikes for me to buy. I have the white Fasta Rossa and I hope I am lucky enough to own the titanium Vamborghini, bro it says Vamborghini that’s the sickest name for s mountain bike and titanium is going to feel so comfortable and it’s CBF.
I'm a big Canfield fan, both of em, and I love the old school freeride vibes this gives. That said...a bike built to really work at 190 is going to suck at 165, and vice versa.
