So if Luca is on Canyon hypothetically, who loses this game of Musical Chairs? Surely not a 4 man megateam!? Troy (would bet my left nut he's staying) Mark (probably bet my right nut....) Kye? Young fella won Jr Worlds and is getting faster all the time... ... more »

Thanks all for the responses. Primoz, this will also be my race bike (yeah I race e-mtb, it's awesome) so it will tick that box as the courses will definitely play into the Norco's favor. So why the range and not the sight you are probably asking, and ... more »

Good shout Jono, You are right, as a total package I think it should impress. For the nerds amongst us, chucked the big girl into Linkage, nice numbers for a plow on coil

yep without a doubt. The current bike is too small for me. I've ridden ~500mm reach bikes before and took to it like a duck to water. The wheelbase and chainstay are the wildcards for me. This could be the best, or worst decision I've made.... and I'm ... more »

Thread revival, still relevant. 2 years on from the last post, do we still think the same? Have we jumped on board with the modern geo train? I rolled the dice pretty hard on my next bike, For reference, I'm 6'1 (185cm, 100kg/225lb) I don't think the

Totally spitballing here, but Luca to Norco? They need another rider to get some top 10's. There were a few times no Norco riders were in the top 60 finals day this year. Blenki is still the man in my eyes but didn't have his best season this year unfortunately, ... more »

So 2.5wt? Any thinner may as well put in water! What year model Grip2? The VVC is significantly less damped I've found. The 2019 36 I had was a bit of a jackhammer, whereas my new 38 is usable.

I made my Meta AM 36T for bike park season, definitely makes a difference. Also kills your legs when you actually have to pedal uphill lol.

Added a comment about video 100 Miles in Moab on Flat Pedals With Vans 11/4/2021 4:22 PM

A buddy of mine recently rode from perth to sydney, 4000km in less than 28 days on flat pedals, averaging 100miles every ride day. I had to laugh that they think this is a worlds first, literally every person who has bike packed or toured has done this feat on flats, probaly in birkenstocks too.

Conversely, Jack Moir had arguably one of his worst seasons when Intense went to fox. Or maybe it was the Kenda "tyres" These guys are so in tune with their setup, any deviation (be it good or bad) can have an impact.

yep, been playing around with AXS mech on 12 speed shimano ecosystem, works almost flawlessly. Not as good as a full SRAM setup, but still very good.

not quite, if I watch my power output on the screen, especially with flat pedals on, you can see it vary output significantly on each stroke through it's peak/trough. The torque sensoring is quite sensitive which is cool. They definitely have pedal bob/inefficiencies, ... more »

With my merida e-bike, the leverage curve is regressive until sag, then a mellow progression and tapers off into a relative linear final stroke. Combined with a low anti squat value, sure you get a bit of pedal bob (got a motor who cares) but the descending ... more »
