wouldn't attaching it to the seat like that create huge force on the dropper post bushings? Especially when raised.

Red Bull might be looking in a different direction to result based sponsorships. Instagram clout, video parts..... It's all about exposure to make little Jimmy grab a can of the blue and silver go-go juice down the local shop. Little Jimmy doesn't give ... more »

My ebike is 440, it's too short to be honest and I like a short CS. Some Hills the front wheel is always inches off the ground. 450mm seems about the sweet spot for eebs.

Typically 2-3 hours. But it's more the rides I would never even consider on an enduro bike. Before going electric, 15km and 600-800m climbing would be a good day out. Now it's 30+km. Actually battery range is my biggest limiting factor. (500 watt hours) ... more »

No word of a lie, my ebike is getting 30:1 use over my enduro bike. I said to myself "I'll ride them both equally" how wrong I was....

Added reply in a thread I don't like the direction of modern trail building 11/16/2020 2:00 PM

But in all seriousness, this does hit a chord. The local sanctioned/legal trails have been dumbed down for the masses. A collective of us moved to another hill and built trails that scare the shit out of anyone who comes for a ride.

Looking forward to these. I'm a big fan of the last 2F0 shoe. As a riding shoe it's overall the best I've used so far. Sure 5/10 has more grip but the little details in the 2F0 add up. Hearing that this new model has 5/10 rivaling grip got me all excited. One thing I noticed though, they have foregone the inner booty. That was real handy when digging and building as it kept the crap out of your shoe.

Only an Aussie knows what CT-18 is haha. I got 20L of it from Supercheap Auto on some crazy special for $49. Enough to last me 100 lifetimes. I tell my mates to take a litre whenever they visit. It works awesome, safe on anodizing and matt finishes but ... more »

I got Ohlins on my harley (total oxymoron there) The knob on mine is tool less preload adjustment. That looks tricky AF with wires and shit which is a mechatronic shock. Very cool stuff. https://www.motorcyclistonline.com/ohlins-electronic-suspension-explained-mechatronic-magic/ ... more »

The one that get's me is how long some of the females have been riding. I think it's Nina.... she's been riding 3 years or something absolutely shockingly low. I've been riding 20+ and still suck lol

Dak Norton to Trek would be a nice fit! I hope he lands a good ride, that guy is a future WC winner in my eyes.

Yeah I saw that. Probably a wireless lockout on a servo motor or similar. Great ride by the GOAT

Awesome review! One of the main points of feedback we have received is in regards to the need for a 12mm wrench for adjustments which as you have mentioned can be not very convenient for trail side tuning. To address this we have made a small 3D printed tool that has both a 12mm...more

could be vacuum forming in the lowers. The old zip tie down the seal might help, cost nothing.

back in my day, i had to walk uphill to school both ways with a wombat on my head to keep warm, I also had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time.

Was a stumpy evo with a 170mm coil fork and 57mm stroke giving 163mm travel. The head angle was 62.5 That bike was ratshit after a week lol. Full rebuild.

The big one is the abuse a DH bike can take. My Stumpy after only 10 days at Queenstown Bikepark was a mess. Everything needed a rebuild it seems. You can go all season on a DH bike with some brake pad changes and a spit shine.
