when I mullet'ed my e-bike (27.5 x 2.8 plus tyred) I put a 29 x 2.5 assegai and a 27.5 x 2.4 Dissector up back, head angle got 0.8 slacker and BB stayed essentially the same within a millimetre or so when compared to stock geo. The bike is a beast now, ... more »

another hater come owner of an e-bike here. I use it for trail building, recovery rides and as a husband/father for the 1.5hrs I get free to myself to crush as many laps as I can. I always thought it was cheating.... but who am I racing? More laps.... ... more »

230lb's Trailbike Exo+ Maxxis casing whatevers (usually DHF) with a Vittoria Air liner up back only DH bike Need all the help I can get, Cushcore front and back on DH casing. (Assegai) EX511's both bikes. Solid reliable combo.

I'm on the similar course of action with my bike. This fork is a hodgepodge of 36 Rhythm upper + Stantion, a 36 Factory lower, a Revalved FitGrip from MBSC for my fat arse and vorpsrung smashpotted at 170mm. Flex wise it feels the same as my 40's on

good points. If anyone has tried a Manitou McLeod rear shock it will teach you that money doesn't equal performance, I've seen those shocks in the bargain bins for dirt cheap and they are a great option for a heavy boi.

CC DB IL coil is ok, The tuning scope is so large you can easily make it a lot worse, but spending the time to get it dialled and it can be a great lightweight coil that fits a lot of frames. You need a cache of springs, like any coil shock. I prefer ... more »
