dantecusolito Added a reply to Bar ends ... so hot right now
2 hours ago Haven't tried them on bike park braking bumps yet, where I get the most arm pump, but I like the extra control and security they give when charging hard. They're also nice when leaning the bike into corners and off cambers. I put them on my Druid V1 with Deity grips. I didn't get the hole punch they sell, so...

6/16/2026 6:15am I’ve been running them since they came out. Really enjoying them after starting to ride again from a partial tear in my bicep and battling tennis elbow off and on. They say not to run them with outside lock ons and I’m not sure why they don’t just make a set that would work over the lock on. but I’ve been running them with my Rev grips with no issues. Sure, I might not be getting the full benefit but I run my hands on the outside of the bar anyway and something is working with them. Definitely recommend for...

6/16/2026 6:14am Thanks for sharing this. I'm super curious about the bar ends, and especially what grips people are running. I don't want to start it because I don't have anything to contribute, but I'd love to follow a thread devoted to these things where we aggregate people's experiences installing and riding them. Bet of lot other people would as well.

6/16/2026 6:14am IIRC, these were not licensed CB designs, but Erase said they weren't selling them, so they didn't think they needed to. Does this sound right? Perhaps the relevant patent has expired.

6/15/2026 8:20am Dak has implied repeatedly over the years that he needs time to develop on a bike then consistency on his setup once he gets it there in order to perform at his best. He’s also said that he didn’t have a great offseason. I’m cheering as hard as anyone for him and keep hoping to see him slot it into finals then have a good run, but we probably need to manage expectations for this season, since he’s on this new program and bike. I would expect by the end of the season, he’s much closer to where we hope...

6/15/2026 5:26am Incoherent. We have. More independent media than ever. Better insight from vlogs and socials than ever. A live broadcast. Insanely fast young racers, more new tracks than ever and 9-10 races per season not including Worlds. And yet. It's a "bad direction"?

6/15/2026 5:24am Rode codes on a park rental last month, good bleed, 220 front rotor, but they just require so much more force at the lever to get the power needed compared Shimanos or mavens. Most cooked my hands/arms have been in a long time.

6/15/2026 5:24am Yeah the terms are disgusting. I call normal bike “free-range-non-gmo-organic-grass-finished bikes.”

6/15/2026 5:24am Excuse my French, but could we fucking please stop calling bikes "analog", "acoustic", or -the worst I've heard- "bio"? Bikes are bikes. Ebikes are something else. Now get off my fucking lawn you punks!

6/15/2026 5:23am That's also because Codes were god awful and the sram riders were so happy to get on an actual brake. I recently felt some older codes on some bikes I was dealing with and they were shockingly worse than I remembered. Say what you will about Shimano brakes, but they've been consistently good for a while.
