6/23/2026 9:53pm https://titaniumsurron.com/products/surron-lbx-foot-brake-kit-hope-tech Here's a foot brake adapter for Tech V4s! Also what a horrible take, Surron created something between a pit bike and a dirt bike and made it virtually maintenance free and fun as hell

6/23/2026 7:27am If this is true, at what point are avinox shooting themselves in the foot? Ebikes are expensive enough that I’ve been holding off on investing in one until the tech change slows a bit. An MGU would compound this issue.

6/22/2026 11:15pm $40 per month is a ripoff, idk what you're on about. The season lasts from May-October (6 months), which is $240. Each elite race is about 3 hours. 10 races per season is 30 hours of racing. That is $8 per hour of livestream, more than minimum wage in 20 US states. It costs WBD almost nothing to distribute the stream to each additional viewer, yet they are charging more than they would be willing to pay somebody for manual labor for that same time period. I know biking is a fairly affluent sport but it sickens me to see...

6/22/2026 9:07am Can confirm it works fine through an NZ VPN from Europe. Been using it all season without issues. The subscription comes out to about 12 NZD/month (~$6–7 USD), which is a lot easier to swallow than the official options available where I am.

6/22/2026 8:33am The only legal avenue to watch in Canada is Flo Sports which is $40 a month or something ridiculous like that. This streaming link you shared might work with a VPN but given that it’s still a paid service i don’t know if i want to risk paying for a VPN, plus this, and have it not work.

6/20/2026 1:03pm Now that the commentary has been decent for two races I'm ready to complain about stream accessibility again

6/3/2026 9:55pm That's a hot take on things. A lot of us don't care if a bike is inside the box or outside it, we just want it to be a good time. Oh, and pretty much all mountain bikers are uncool. That's fine with me, I don't really like the cool people anyway.

6/3/2026 10:44am I think both those bikes are more race oriented and have more adjustments. This bike seems more in line with budget park bikes like the status park despite being full 200mm. Nobody talks about those bikes.

6/3/2026 10:19am My hot take is if Brage wasn’t attached to this bike, the response would be much less positive.

5/31/2026 7:28pm To say riders wouldn’t have dsq’d today if there were tape would be a huge underestimation of the prep these riders put into a race run. Once race day comes along they aren’t seeing flags or tape anymore, just their line. Now I would argue that tape can sometimes be less confusing for the viewer on the broadcast but I...

5/31/2026 7:24pm Like some others, my HBO/Max broadcast had zero commentary. It was so damn nice. The sounds of the the bike, the tires, and the dirt were it.

5/31/2026 7:24pm You can really tell with the delay that they're announcing off site. They're always a moment or move behind where Rob and team would explode in the moment that something happened if what they were watching. It takes the enjoyment out of it almost completely. When Gracey hit the hole in that corner and almost lost it, she's recovered and was two corners out by the time they addressed it. Same as when Vergier crashed.

5/30/2026 11:08pm Strong disagree. At the point where you are taking quali laps you know exactly where you're going and where the course is. Tape wouldn't have made it any different.

5/30/2026 11:06pm Jackson’s DSQ had nothing to do with the poles themselves, other than the wind blowing him outside of them. If it had been tape instead, the same thing happens except he’s tangled up in tape too.
