First ride report on Tacky Chan Trail Pro radials, super soft up front, soft in back, 22psi front, 25psi rear, 29" front and rear on a Yeti SB160 on DT Swiss EXC 1501 wheels. 1143 grams each. They roll fast for a meaty tire. Better than the Magic Mary. Maybe better than the Albert. On par with a DHF exo+ maxxterra 3c I'd say. Faster than an Assegai for sure. Not as fast as a Forecaster. Hey all, I can finally take off my very sneaky blue tape camouflage to reveal that yes, I’m reviewing the new Nomad. Because I’ve spent so many years on the old Megatower, I’m framing this as a Megatower vs. Nomad comparison. I ride Odi Rogue grips gloveless and I love them. Great damping, take a long time till they are worn down. I also liked Esi Chunkys for their damping, but they wore quickly and if you crash, they tear easily.

Man that is one ugly bike... Looks to be a new gamux frame? Were they running the potential Manitou coil prototype? Edit confirmed it is a new gamux from back in october I just didn't see until now. From what is visible on reece's instagram, rear shock appears to be standard.

you can also look into some Schwalbe light ones.. if you dont want to go super light, nobby nics come in superground + soft rubber (orange), as well as speedgrip (blue).. even Tacky chans come in this Superground lighter construction... wicked will on the rear is also a very good trail tire
