7/3/2026 9:20am Jonty had a very horrible crash in practice, and posted video to his stories on IG. It looked/sounded to me like after he went over the front end in the berm going Mach 5, his left ankle, or foot, or lower leg, hit the stump right under his foot in the screen cap, and spun him around like a toy. Rough practice indeed. Hope he can keep blowing our minds.

7/3/2026 9:17am I'm completely against flipping start order for any petty overall series interest. Times are so stupidly tight now that 30th can win. It's a FALSE stacking of riders in hopes of building a fictitious momentum. The courses get better sometimes for the last few racers. Sometimes it gets worse for the last few racers. Fractions of seconds spaced out over a 1, 2, 3 hour time span in variable weather & lighting conditions. All splitting hairs in the final. The days of dictating a countdown to fastest run are over. Please stop trying to manufacture a good time I'm capable...

6/22/2026 1:58pm Hope's history with 6-piston brakes for mountain biking goes back to 2003, when the one-piece Mono 6 Ti was first introduced. It had a relatively short life, dropping from the catalogue in 2007 as 4-piston brakes become the norm. Hope also brought a 6-piston prototype to the World Cup with Adam Brayton in 2017 and 2018, but it never made it through to production for various reasons. Fast-forward to the present day, and Hope is finally ready to bring their biggest (and probably baddest) brakes to date to the mass-market. We say mass-market, but for now the initial run will...

6/21/2026 4:10am I have the Patagonia dirt roamer which is basically that. They have replaced that model and i suppose the that too is good, but if you can find the dirt roamer at a sale somewhere that's my recommendation.

6/20/2026 3:28pm I'm liking the new cost system, was able to score well in the overall (11th) just trying to pick winners and 1 filler with my remaining budget. I had a hunch that Finn and Anna were in a good mental space and riding well, so built around them.

6/20/2026 7:24am I always root for the underdogs so whoever takes it beside Vali, Loic and so on is fantastic. Happy for Anna getting back efter her injury last year. I say we are winners as well. World cup finals is 4+ hours of gut-wrenching mayhem to me. I have to take a shower after this one.

Bananamoon Added a reply to Michelin DH22 vs Maxxis Assegai DH: Which Front Tyre Is Faster?
6/19/2026 1:48pm Haven't ridden the wire beads but It's a completely different casing resulting in lower rolling resistance. I've seen reviews comparing the two versions saying it's not that big a difference. My experience is that the new version has a bit less rolling resistance than the assegai, equal grip and sheds mud better.

6/19/2026 3:37am Seems to be testing the outdated wire bead version of the Michelins. Maybe it's brexit and whats available in the UK.
