7/22/2026 12:46pm Just took at Teewing Turbo Force for a ride. Its Teewing's 150/160mm bike with the Avinox motor. Very nice bike for $6kMSRP. Motor is so quiet and massively tunable. Under 50 pounds. 800watt battery. One of my local shops is now a dealer. For that price it becomes something to consider for sure.

7/19/2026 2:42am Also had issues with my 90 setup. Turned out to be not enough cable tension, but the weird part is it only affected one cog in the middle of the cassette. Since fixing that it’s been fantastic. Can’t remember if it was said earlier, but it sure feels like SRAM made the mechanical stuff harder to setup as a way to steer people toward AXS.

7/15/2026 5:27pm This is what I'm planning on doing. My issue with Eagle 90 is that, no matter what I do, it seems like it just can't be setup perfectly. The lack of limit screws and b-adjust make it a pain to try and get it totally dialed in. When it works, it works OK, but when it doesn't, the process of fixing it just doesn't seem to fix it entirely. There is always something out of alignment or slightly off. I've setup or installed many other drivetrains including SRAM 12 speed without this being an issue, but neither me nor bike...

7/15/2026 5:27pm The Madrone Jab with whatever shifter you want solves that issue. I've been on all the latest drivetrains from SRAM and Shimano, and the Jab blows them all out of the water in pretty much every aspect - price being the only outlier there.

7/14/2026 10:52pm Honestly, the lack of "fudgeability" by using the limits + b tension screws to deal with any cable/housing related issues puts a hell of a lot of pressure on the tension adjuster on the sram 90 shifter and its just... not up to the task. I think I'd be singing a different tune if it felt as nice to deal with (and worked as well) as the XO and XX1 stuff did in the previous generation. I recently put an XO DH shifter on a madrone DH jab and my god its so nice, and in my opinion what the...

7/14/2026 3:25pm Recovered my stolen 1-up rack because of one. Dude had his van stolen with his bikes in it. His bikes had AirTags (in the steerer tube? forgot) and he was able to get his van, bikes, my rack + two other stolen 1-Ups and a van full of stolen power tools. The tools weren't his, but the cops said they...

7/13/2026 11:33pm Just a lot of money for a heavier and noisier experience, with the only benefit being durability? (Which is then offset by the cost and weight regardless?) I'm glad the development is continuing but wireless seems like one of those things for high end bikes running the high end versions. As of now I don't think people really want deore di2 or S1000/eagleAXS, upgrade kit or no. I mean as long as it stops eating the mid range market of MTBs. Models probably shouldn't jump from CUES 11 to GX AXS in terms of options (and price).

7/13/2026 11:32pm The price and weight are completely ridiculous when you consider how cheap and well all the cable stuff is these days. Who is this even for?

7/13/2026 11:32pm Weights are pretty close for Di2 vs. mechanical (550g vs 600g) however the RD weights are 360g for the mechanical version, and 520g for the Di2 version. An extra 160g of unsprung weight. This seems less than ideal.

7/9/2026 10:43pm I stopped riding my ebike and rode the natural short travel trail bike every day this week. It's just more fun. Less decent for the same amount of time. It's been glorious.

7/9/2026 7:32am What JVP said. For me it's a compromise of grip and confidence inspiring on the downs vs hauling drag uphill It'd be pseudo science but if you had a power meter I'd be interested in a comparison of radial vs non-radial. Find a fairly uniform part of a climb trail and do some laps trying to keep the power constant. It wouldn't have to be super high power merely something you could achieve repeatedly. I recall pinkbike in the Levy days doing something similar for some of the field tests.

7/8/2026 7:10am All the m2s bikes are sold. Who has stock? Pivot is a good example of a company able to release new models frequently. The more nimble brands have no problems rapidly adopting and releasing new systems. That’s probably how it will be moving forward.

7/7/2026 11:05pm I could give this a go, would back to back race sim laps be enough to provide accurate results? At least in a way that it is consistently one way or the other?

7/1/2026 11:13pm I am going to be completely transparent here in that I work for FSA, but I will say I worked really hard on making the 31.8 40mm Gradient alloy bar one of the most compliant on the market. and here is the proof: (chart from PB article)

7/1/2026 11:09pm Have any of you actually ridden an Amflow bike? I have (gen 1), and the frame rides great for its intended purpose. Its an all mountain bike, not super-enduro. I'd say it rides as good or better than something like the Levo. The flexiness is just fine. About right for a bike of that travel and intended terrain.
