Honestly, with how much 32 has been prototyped and with the imminent release of forks, wheels, and tires for 32, I don't think it's going to be nearly as big as people thing. We should be seeing a lot more 32 at races and other events than we are, this feels like it's going to be a lot more like 27.5+ tires and wheels than anything else.

Trust me, I get it. I feel exactly the same. I'm honestly getting a bit fatigued by all this pseudo-innovation lately: 32" wheels, competing derailleur hanger standards, electronic 13 speed group sets, 1700w ebike motors, new hub standards - I neither want nor need any of it. Because at the end of the day, all of this is just going to make everything more expensive but won't make a difference to my actual day-to-day enjoyment of cycling.

i'd thought about a chainless comparison, but who rides w/o a chain? 3 bikes on the same trail in their stock configuration seems pretty reasonable. the amflow had s1000 transmission, the levo had X0 transmission and the bosch bike had mechanical XT rear derailleur. which full size motor is reported to not have any noise? i realize TQ or Fazua small motors are insanely quiet. i've never ridden a giant/yamaha and was on a sram motor once a few years ago and don't remember.

I didn’t pull the battery out of the PX, but at least based on the graphics they provide, the battery makes up the majority of the down tube. So it’s not like the weight is centralized up high - it’s spread out and still mostly placed between your feet with the motor. Most (nearly all) mountain bikes have a maximum weight (mass) limit. They just bury it in the manual and don’t advertise it. I know the previous generation Demo frame had a limit in its manual also.

Damn, end of an era for sure. Best shoes ever but I see why selling shoes for $50 that are more durable than most everything on the market didn't work out. Really is a shame because the 2FO are the only shoes I'd actually pay industry prices for.

Pretty sure they are pulling out of the gravity side, still making road and XC shoes. I just ordered 2 pairs of the 2FO Roost flats, had to order from 2 shops as each only had 1 in my size left. Got a couple partially used pairs at home. They are so much better than Freerider pro for me. Gonna suck having to find a new shoe when my supply runs out.

I noticed this too as I just blew out my second to last pair. I bet they had a glut of product left over from the covid boom and everything was on deep discount. Sucks because those are stellar shoes for an amazing price. Wish I would have bought 4-5 pairs instead of two.

Updated HD6 seems like the most logical step for Ibis considering they've refreshed the Ripmo/Ripley, Ripley SL, and OSO in the past few years. I really hope they take the OSO platform/mentality and apply it to the updated HD7 with the ability to swap wheel sizes and modular dropouts.

I can compare the rekon, magnotal, and trinotal, but not the dubnotal as it's a bit too light for me Just as a heads up, while the trinotal looks reminiscent of the forekaster, it has much shorter knobs. In terms of overall grip/rolling resistance, its forekaster > magnotal > rekon > trinotal. I really like the center tread on the magnotal, but the sideknobs don't quite reach forekaster levels of grip
