Sorry we didn’t realise it was a fact . You should have said so sooner. Can probably close this thread now that rational discussion has been abandoned.

On one hand I agree about Sam and I do very much want to see him back on top, but equally I would say the results speak for themselves / or don’t. Didn’t Richie also miss all the EWS races last year? In Les Gets Matt Walker left the start gate right ... more »

Maybe this is harsh as it's still so early in the season but where's Matt Walker at this year? 13th and 25th are consistent...ly not what you'd expect from last year's overall winner. In EWS Sam also seems to have forgotten to pour a monster on his porridge. ... more »

This site's "fun for the whole family" vibe seems very off brand for intense? Looks to me like a sub-brand to help them squeeze the last few pennies out of their tooling investments. Less low calorie carbon and more hot hot sriracha aluminium please ... more »

Looks like it’s got less travel than those tyres. I think gravel bikes are cool but that is a sad little stump of a suspension fork. Can it really be worth the additional cost/weight?

I see what you’re saying but isn’t that more about them just being on trend and doing what customers are asking for? In terms of design language I see a pretty clear lineage from the fury and the cannondale DH project. Both have quite distinct flavours. ... more »

It's a funny looking cage. Kind of looks like it would strike the chain at bottom out (I'm sure it won't). Also doesn't look like the idler is concentric to the pivot.

I wonder when we'll see a new Bell dh helmet. The full 9 still looks great but I think it's basically unchanged since 2013?

Looks like a new 100% dh helmet too.

Don't get me wrong, I think that in the world of mountain bikes "radical" very rarely leads to mass market success. Look at the recent offerings from polygon, trust forks etc that are doomed to market failure regardless of their performance. There's ... more »

From an industrial design point of view the current enduro is a dog's dinner. Current Demo isn't very ambitious either, especially following the radical single sided 2016 demo. I wouldn't be shocked if both these models are just steady eddie placeholders ... more »

I get that but why bother with the hanger in that case? If it's no longer a sacrificial break-away part then it seems about time to get rid of it altogether.

Added reply in a thread MTB Tech Rumors and Innovation 1/28/2021 4:40 PM

Problem these days is that the hangers are generally cnc’d aluminium parts and are much more solid than the derailleurs. All of the 12 speed shimano derailleurs (excluding xtr) connect the cage to the main body with plastic. Seems like the system could ... more »

More images of the new POC helmet. Wonder how it'll compare to the new A3? I'm kind of surprised by how little innovation there is on the helmet scene. I imagine something like koroyd is pretty expensive to produce ... more »

2010 called and they want their head angle back.

Not if he’s on a local shop deal posted a few pages back.

Looks like Brook off Alpinestars.

My money is still in unno. Similar deal Whiteley set up for Greg Williamson but running burgtec/Hayes/crankbrothers.

Look like crank brothers rims. Would be cool to see Angel on an Unno frame.
