His perspective is a welcome change from the usual safe, generic industry takes the rest of the media recycles time and time again.

So this is kind of hilarious to me because forbidden just ships a pile of parts along with a frame that isn't even put together. Having built/QC checked a lot of bikes from Transition, Ibis, Cannondale, Orbea, and Forbidden I can honestly say that the QC on the Forbidden frames are absolutely stellar, on par with Ibis carbon (Ibis alloy leaves a lot to be desired). Unfortunately, with bike brands that ship just frame and parts end up leaving a lot of their bikes "QC" impression on the skills of the builder building the bike. If your headset creeks, or...

You should definitely go for DH practices, because then you’ll be able to see the practices and race day. Because nobody on the planet (especially one with a username on vital mtb forums) would be able to watch practice and leave. You will stay. I was just commenting on how it was fairly clear that WBD hadn't made a clear and targeted effort to delete the RB brand from WCs over the last 3 seasons. I don't think the point is valid at all. If WB were so keen to get rid of the "Red Bull Era" then they would have cut all ties from 2023 on. But instead they were happy to increase the RB branding and presence between 23 and 25. Red Bull media house (who broadcast the WC series before) and Red Bull the energy drink brand are not the same company. Connected yes, but not the same. He's in Aus, so until unless they send it down, or there is a WC level event in the southern hemisphere they run what they have until they meet up with the team bus again. SRAM are coming for hardline and doing some testing post Hardline as well as Frameworks are staying for a week doing testing as they'll open the DH track just for them to test on. I'm sure some new gear will be trialed that week, not sure if I can get spy shots for you all.

idk ridemonkey users managed to scrape together about that much to buy itself out before their former corporate overlords were gonna pull the plug. i for one would pony up that amount, for me at least it's a far easier sell knowing my money would go to a proper mtb business rather than some international media conglomerate
