So now we're back to "pick a wheel size and be a dick about it"? Anyone got any rumors?

2026 and you guys are still complaining about motors on bikes. Please find a different thread.

It may not be a "whole separate sport", but there sure is a "whole separate text thread" for the e-bike riders in my friend circle. Now we rarely have big group rides as the crew is split in two and it's a pain to ride laps with both bike types together. So I'd say its a "whole different discipline" of pedaling a rolling thing with your feet.

Across the multiple forums I follow I haven't heard one peep of issues with the sidekick nor have I had any myself after a years use. I echo the same e13 concerns you have but the sidekick has been flawless. Could be they over built it to avoid repeating history and then realized where they could save weight on V2, rather than the other way around.

I will be stocking up of clutched shimano's if they ever try to do something stupid like removing the proven shimano clutch.

The glovebox can be seen in the picture. There’s the black ridge on the upper side of the downtube. Bikepacking-Nomad. I’d love to fit a 29“ wheel…

I always thought this Lefty demonstration was intriguing. I think the industry has different standards on fork flex these days, but I wanted to try a Lefty after watching this BITD. Let’s also not forget all the wacky moves Aaron Chase used to do with one…

You should also call out Canfield while you are at it. Patenting three holes in a frame or a variant of the Horst Link is as bogus as Tony Ellsworth's claims.

Sounds like a skill issue. Anyway, there's a thread for you to whine about brakes in. Your comments add nothing about tech rumors.

European retailer just leaked new Marin downcountry bike. Marin TAM XR - 2026 – Simple Bike Store Not the prettiest frame I've ever seen but with the rumored death of the Chisel I'd say there is space for an aluminum DC rig. 130mm front, 65 degree HTA. Release date looks like 4/17 according to the Marin website.
