23 hours ago Good times in Val Di Sole this past weekend. Thanks to the Rock Shox team having the bike on display all week, it has plenty of drool on it. What modern replica do you want to see next?

8/25/2026 10:25am Incredible project to be part of, and an awesome creative escape for a contract engineer like Dan. Dan and I have worked on many projects together, and I’ve been lucky enough to spend some time in Champery with him the past two years. He’s an incredible bike engineer and absolute shredder. Getting to chase him down Verbier, Les Houches, Aosta...

8/11/2026 9:03pm I've been wondering about this but can't find any info on seatpost insertion depth. Is there anything unique to the Frameworks DH frame that limits how deep the post can go?

8/6/2026 12:41pm Since the FW DH bike is not intended for dropper posts, the seat tube may not be reamed to full depth. I cant answer that confidently. I fabricated and welded my own FW based frame, so I prepped it as needed. I do know other running production FW DH frames with dropper posts, so I know it can be done.

8/6/2026 8:51am I’m running a 34t chainring with a 12 degree o-chain. Running the smaller chainring increases kickback by less than 1 degree, this has never been an issue to me. Without a chain damper, I’m sure it wouldn’t be great. In a climbing gear, the anti-squat is about 130% which is super nice for a soft DH spring setup. I run...

5/29/2026 8:38am Vittoria is pushing hard with new tread patterns, casings and rubber compounds. I’ve been a tire tester for them since helping with the development on the Mazza. Ken Avery was part of the Minion program with Maxxis and he’s doing some great stuff at Vittoria now.

5/28/2026 11:36am Just buy a DH bike with steep seat tube angle and run a dropper post and full drivetrain. Then you have the best of both worlds! Frameworks for the win. And for those complaining it ruins drivetrains, this XX group (minus chain replacements) has been running strong since Jan. 2023.

5/18/2026 10:08pm We already know his name as he's been making waves for some time already (which is crazy to say given that he's only 11 at present), but Weston Lukens aka " Wes_sends" is set to take the next step now as he has signed on with Neko Mulally's Frameworks program. They've developed a custom 24/26 mullet for him to ride, and by the looks of this reel, Wes is feeling at home on the new rig already. The future is bright...in fact, the future is now!

5/18/2026 10:07pm Was just reminded listening to the OTB podcast that Neko Mulally did it in Cairns in 2014- crashed and got third. I went and looked at his Roots and Rain and it gets crazier! That was his best result ever at an elite World level event, and only podium at a World Cup. If we include World Champs, his only other podium was in 2014 in Norway when he got 4th... without a chain. Neko somehow performs at his best only under the highest pressure.

7/28/2025 9:43am Asa had go faster flames machined into his rocker 🤣 you can tell he turned the afterburners on. Seeing Charlie on the podium was nice too, he's not had the best luck at WCs recently.
