8/18/2026 7:27am V1 had the valve integrated into the rim saver itself so it kinda had to have a valve that came with it. Now that we are on V2 we could sell it without the valves (if you're looking for that let me know I can arrange that). Honestly, the more sku's we add the more time it takes to manage the business with very little return on that time. Let's look at this scenario through the 80/20 rule. Though some people may want no valves or custom colored valves, the return on that effort is probably not worth it and...

8/8/2026 11:48pm Just buy a DH bike with steep seat tube angle and run a dropper post and full drivetrain. Then you have the best of both worlds! Frameworks for the win. And for those complaining it ruins drivetrains, this XX group (minus chain replacements) has been running strong since Jan. 2023.

7/31/2026 10:13pm Ebikes erase hills, headwinds, and polls. DH bike and an eeb. Dealer’s choice on the eeb, they’re all better than every pedal bike. Easy peasy!

6/16/2026 8:19am Dak has implied repeatedly over the years that he needs time to develop on a bike then consistency on his setup once he gets it there in order to perform at his best. He’s also said that he didn’t have a great offseason. I’m cheering as hard as anyone for him and keep hoping to see him slot it into finals then have a good run, but we probably need to manage expectations for this season, since he’s on this new program and bike. I would expect by the end of the season, he’s much closer to where we hope...

6/12/2026 8:50am Name a more annoying sound than an American complaining about ebikes. Honestly, we've all heard your opinions before. We know you have them. I don't really like or want an ebike either but there are 12,000,000 whingy comments online about how you're too pure or too dedicated or too fit or too angry at unskilled riders and you're mad about it. We don't need any more. Talk about the market or discontinuation of normal bikes, sure, but complaining about being passed on a climb track or peoples ass cracks is tiring af at this point. You've been yelling about it...

6/11/2026 10:22pm Ive been pondering the e-bike vs regular bike debate a bit recently, and if that conflict is unique to North America only at this point? From what I gather, Europe has heavily embraced e-biking in all forms, to the point where is it somewhat the default choice for most people. Here in the US, the debate of e-bike vs regular bike is still very much a point on contention, but that seems to be something unique to America biking culture, and not so much the rest of the world. Am I wrong on this, or is American protestant work/suffer culture...

6/6/2026 8:36pm Just a check in to (Probably.) piss some people off. I'm updating my old home made 26" DH bike to take 27.5" wheels. It's got 9.5" travel and the chain stays are growing from 16.5" to a whopping 17.25"! I know. They're getting kind of long, but I had to add 3/4" to fit those huge wheels.

5/1/2026 12:19pm I think one of the largest "We're not in Kansas anymore" moments I had when I began working for a component manufacturer after years in bikes shops was when I had the insignificance of aftermarket sales explained to me. Don't get me wrong, every brand worth their salt is going to support aftermarket product bc why leave money on the table, but OE sales are king in the bike industry and ultimately OE sales drives every design decision. SRAM gets to push the convenience of full SRAM spec by limiting cross compatibility. For brands like Canyon, Specialized, etc., who are...

4/29/2026 10:54pm Somebody in the comments on the other site said Dak was confirmed on a 32" front wheel for South Korea. Has anyone seen that? I haven't seen any evidence of Dak's bike with a 32" wheel anywhere.
