That's a lot going on to have a high single pivot bike with a MX style pull linkage. I guess when they announce more about the gearbox it might make more sense. I do like the look of it without the fairings.

As much as I hate the idea of changing to 32" wheeled MTBs, it seems that a bike like that needs a 29er rear wheel to balance the small bump compliance.

Those Honda damper look so small on an MX bike but huge on an MTB bike. I wonder if you can revalve it to have less force or at least use a lighter oil wieght.

This is an awesome option for people who bought bikes with Zeb R or RC dampers, especially because the kit includes a valving kit for internally tuning the mid and high speed compression. Cool to see! Hope it rides as well as the rear shock.

I almost completely agree with this review of the Narco Sight TQ. I was lucky to get an early sample of this bike and I’ve been riding it for several weeks in all different types of terrain. It has been more fun than any other eBike I’ve ridden. The reason I love this eBike is that it’s fun on any trail and not just the biggest and baddest trails. I hear that a lot at our bike shops in the SLC, UT area. However, I know a lot of gravity oriented riders that use their eBikes for more out of season training laps and still ride their Amish bikes for racing and park days. I have access to a few nice eBikes, but still put way more miles in on my Amish bikes.

I've been riding a yet to be released eBike with the TQ60 system, but I set it up much like you have on the TQ40. Mode 1 is set to +100 watts at a 1:1 assistance and Mode 2 is set at +200 watts with a 1:1 assistance. This bike is a bit heavier than the Rallon RS, but has a 580Wh battery. I can pretty much ride all day on that battery if I use Modes 1 & 2. I still have mode 3 at 350 watts and a 1:1 assistance. I'm loving this bike on technical high desert...

I had an epiphany during this test that I should have been on Shorty’s way more when I was racing haha Especially places like Mammoth, Northstar, Big Bear. It’s deep! Solitude definitely looked like Argotal conditions, cool to hear that’s what races were running🤙

In my DH racing days I would turn to the Maxxis Shorty when conditions got blown out and really loose. Probably 40% of race day action in northern UT. With the better mixed use knobby layout of the Argotal and HR3 I'd probably pick them for 60-70% of race day runs. Last year I was helping to sell tires for Conti at the Solitude Monster Energy Cup DH race. By the last day of practice everyone was only asking for Argotals and Pros were running them front and rear.
