As much as I like Charlie's output, the use of AI images in thumbnails makes me scroll on past.

I’m looking for a non-European rider to win this thing…listening to CKilmurray talk about jet lag reminds me how much more accustomed the Oz/NZ and American riders are to racing in foreign lands. Hyped on these pre-race shows as always, embarrassed I haven’t paid for Downtime Patreon yet. 😐

I haven't watched this or the other videos that the three of those guys have put out...but I already know what it's going to sound like and that it's going to be super fun to watch. Those are three dudes who seem to have a lot of fun being REALLY killer riders. Thanks for posting it because I wouldn't have...

So we should've been heading for the airport this afternoon. Unfortunately we've had to cancel the trip at the 11th hour due to an unforeseen medical issue. Absolutely gutted. We were really loking forward to this one. With it being the 1st ever race and the cultural side of things I think it would've been a special one. Hopefully my health will improve sufficiently to get out to one of the European rounds. This thread has been a mine of useful information, thanks for all who contributed and happy travels to all attending. Maybe see you at the next one.🤞👍

Calling Amaury right now for the win. It just feels like a place where the risks he takes and his speed down the open ski slope will be the winning combo.

Added a couple new notches in the idiot belt recently: My Maven brakes started getting air in the levers and fouling bleeds fairly quickly. First the front, then the rear, then the front again. WTF? Wandering bite point and general ranting ensues for a bit... Further investigation reveals that I had not tightened the hose compression nut to the lever anywhere near the proper 8nm torque. I got at lest a turn and a half on each nut with the crow foot torque wrench. Fresh bleed and haven't had an issue yet this season. Ran the loose hoses for at...

Just a hunch, but I doubt Santa Cruz is letting YouTubers/Instagramers test out new stuff... especially with Specialized tires. Willing to put money that's just a XO RSV Bullit with a wrap on it.

Damn. I don't know what it is about those Hope bikes but they always look so sick. Even the previous gen short travel bike (HB 130) with the swoopy top tube...I just think their stuff seems awesome. Plus, I'm always down to support a brand that supports Joe Barnes!

Hope HB.912 Hope’s new HB.912 trail bike looks awfully sleek. 120mm rear wheel travel, 130mm fork, four-bar linkage, and in-house-made frame. Definitely one of those bikes that can fly under the radar, but the longer you look at it, the more you appreciate it. The bike should be available closer to summer, with the frameset starting at ~$5,400 USD.

This has me wondering what a 32" bike with 29" wheels would be like. Thinking it could be Long (CS) / Low (b b) / Tall (Stack)😽 Also 32" means 29+ ain't dead

Huh, I'm not even mad. Unlike mountainbikes, a bikepacking ATB seems like the perfect application scenario for 32" wheels.
