Just give it a thumb throttle and call it a day. 800% "Assist" is just a joke. When the motor is doing more than 50% of the work you are being pushed. You are cosplaying a cyclist. These bikes shouldn't be called pedal assist, they should be called CosPeds.

One argument that’s been lost on me is the claim that theirs still a speed limit on the bike , so it’s ok. There’s even a comparison above to the Tesla plaid cheetah mode. My perspective is that there’s also a big difference. Yes, you can take an insanely powerful Tesla out on the roads, but that’s inherently a structured environment. There’s signs , lanes, reflectors for the edge of the road, clear sight lines, etc. So if you’re gonna go do 120 in a Tesla you have at least some chance of predicating or seeing what all the other...

Hi. I‘ve been in Sardinia a few times with family, surf board and bikes. There a really good places to ride and the community is growing. It depends how good your kids a riding. 1. F.e. Mt. Ortobene next to Nuoro is a great trail center where it‘s really easy to access all the trails. Great for kids, easy climb, not steep. Nice cafe at the top. 2. Parco di Porto in the west. Our French-speaking colleagues at Vojo Mag reporting that Isabeau Courdurier is planning to come back to racing in 2026 (after the recent birth of her first child). She will race select enduro and DH events, with the focus mostly on the latter (coached by Cecile Ravanel).

I’m traveling to Switzerland (flying into Zurich) to do some riding (solo for now) for my 50th. My list of possible riding spots includes; Davos Lenzerhiede (for the bike park) Zermatt (possibly) I’m looking for a combination of tech trails, preferably long ones that I can link with lifts/cable cars/etc. Also prefer advanced trails. Riding a Yeti SB 165. I enjoy climbing, as well. I’m looking for suggestions on spots to hit (within my list above, or recommendations for better spots), and specific trails/routes. I don’t want to travel too far between spots (Zermatt feels kinda far already), so spots...

Realistically, once racing stops being a priority, I could see myself replacing the Nomad with something in that category. Blur and V10 are their best selling non ebikes?! Maybe I'm in a bubble in the northeast US, but I know 4 people who bought a SC bike in the past year and they are all Nomads. And others already owned Bronsons. All the middle aged and old guys around here with Santa Cruz ride Tallboys or Hightowers. Can't remember the last time I saw a Blur, and Nomads are so good in the park that only the hardcore DH racers buy V10s.
