Yep. That is actually my crux 5 frame in the picture. I also checked an aethos 2 and tarmac sl9 which both have the same updated dropout. So Specialized has been doing this update for awhile given the Aethos came out in October 2025. I have not checked my epic 9 frameset but plan on looking to see if they did the same on the MTB side.

Afaik its a new version of their already adapted UDH hanger that has been seen on some bikes - Its just an UDH hanger but with a small pin on it. Lets hope that its just that, and nothing more. I dont see manufactuers going back to doing different seat/chainstay molds for shimano and sram bikes. But maybe they have something completely different in the pipeline, but I think thats a miss from them then. What do you mean amplify. Weight transfer gives you more grip. It only makes sense to have more braking power (i.e. bigger rotor) in the front. QED: literally every car on the road. If it has a rear weight bias (Porsche for example) or a near 50 50 split, the difference front to rear is smaller, but still present.

The SixFinity mules from 2016 and 2019 are super cool to see. That's a looooooong time ago, and I didn't realize they've been kicking this idea around for that long.

I know this is a setup discussion thread, but did want to chime in on something I find interesting. It seems like everyone of the press release images has like 25mm or more of headset spacers under the stem. If that is how you want to present the bike, and hint that it's where the bars should be, then maybe just add +10 or so to your stack height. I get that people look at reach and ignore stack, but lets be honest. a 480 bike with 25mm of spacers is a very similar if not identical to a 470ish...

I believe we're looking into the Push Sub-Chamber in that fork. The knob at the top of the Sub-Chamber closes a valve that either shuts off or opens up that air chamber, which results in more or less air spring ramp from the ambient air inside the coil-sprung stanchion. i'd thought about a chainless comparison, but who rides w/o a chain? 3 bikes on the same trail in their stock configuration seems pretty reasonable. the amflow had s1000 transmission, the levo had X0 transmission and the bosch bike had mechanical XT rear derailleur. which full size motor is reported to not have any noise? i realize TQ or Fazua small motors are insanely quiet. i've never ridden a giant/yamaha and was on a sram motor once a few years ago and don't remember.

I didn’t pull the battery out of the PX, but at least based on the graphics they provide, the battery makes up the majority of the down tube. So it’s not like the weight is centralized up high - it’s spread out and still mostly placed between your feet with the motor. both the PR and PX bikes that we've had were exceptionally quiet. it seems like every motor brand has both complaints of motor noise or praises of of them being quiet. i was lucky to have the PR, a bosch and a specialized at the same time. the PR was the quietest riding the same trail back to back to back.
