That's cool! I didn't realize they made two different swingarms. I'm guessing Yeti concluded that the two unique swingarm molds were necessary because of the large variation in chainstay length they've rolled out with the LT, from as short as 439mm on the small all the way up to 475mm on the XL, which is a lot to squeak out of one swingarm by moving around the mounting points on the front triangle. I know it has +10mm modular dropouts to account for some of that change in rear center length, but leverage is leverage and the same swingarm with...

As I got a little further into the conversation, the host mentions something about the "new range of bikes" and Peter says something along the lines of "talking specifically about the LT..." That makes it sound like a few bikes rather than a single bike or a pair of bikes. I wouldn't call two bikes a "range" and I wouldn't have used the word "new" for bikes that have been out for a year already (the LTe and MTe), so that feels a little like the host knows more than the guest wants to reveal. Speculation continues. Also an interesting...

One of the syndicate mechanics does these as a side hustle along with rotor guards - at Preorder stage currently and only for Saint cranks, unsure if the plan would be to offer any SRAM variants. g10prjct.com

Why doesn’t someone just make a weighted insert that fits into a hollow spindle? Could play with weights and even take it out if it’s not needed

Man, why do all the cool short travel/dc bikes hate making XL frames? Looking at you, Forbidden. Ripley SL also did look nice, and that solar-powered US-made portion was something that made for a good story.

Updated HD6 seems like the most logical step for Ibis considering they've refreshed the Ripmo/Ripley, Ripley SL, and OSO in the past few years. I really hope they take the OSO platform/mentality and apply it to the updated HD7 with the ability to swap wheel sizes and modular dropouts.

On DHF talk, I'd happily never ride that tire ever again - Had some of the scariest moments on that tire, I'd happily have a Forekaster on the front over it.

If you read your own AI slop you’ll see that Bosch has Heart Rate Monitoring AND it has an Auto mode however nothing indicates any integration between the two. Auto mode does NOT monitor your heart rate in order to deliver power and stay in a targeted HR zone.

The M2S is a little bit better than a Bosch on virtually every aspect: weight, size, noise, efficiency, software, overall package (screen, controllers, lights), price of the bikes. But much more importantly, just look at the bikes, take any Bosch bike like the commencal, crestline, orbea, then compare their Avinox equivalent, they are just so much better looking. On top of that, a lot of brands have released sub-5k ebikes with the M2, some are even carbon. There is also the fact that they are releasing things much much faster than the other brands. This is coming from a happy...

It weighs less and has more power. As smooth or smoother than the competition (partially due to its much higher wheel polling). Batteries also have class leading power to weight density. But clearly they are selling well during the worst, most painful era the industry has ever seen because of "spreadsheet shoppers".

I think so because towards the end of 2025 maxxis had a dhf2 page on their site for a couple days. It had a picture of the old dhf, but had a different description and rolling resistance/ traction chart.

From that angle it’s funny how much it looks like a DHF without the gap between the center tread and corner knobs. I wonder if they intended for this to be the DHF replacement but decided to call it DHX for some reason.
