4/1/2026 7:35am Nah, April Fools is totally a thing we’re doing here too. For us Germans, it’s one of the extremely rare occasions when our culture permits you to act a little silly or pull a good-natured prank on your workplace colleagues and not get the condescending stare of death in return.

4/1/2026 7:35am ew, SRAM corporate makes their people use Teams? Actually, they deserve it for the 28.99 DUB "standard".

3/26/2026 3:02pm The 27.5 still uses the same casting as the old 38, presumably because they don't expect many sales, and they already offer the Marzocchi line for freeriders.

3/26/2026 10:55am Yes, it is 200mm post mount on the 29" version. Still 180 on the 27.5 for some reason. But who is really buying a new 38 if you're still rocking that size after being able to get forks around 50% off for the dead end size.

3/26/2026 8:38am So the solution to the Sea Otter release tsunami is to release things earlier... but not talk about certain bits? The Mondraker has motor, fork and rims blurred out 🤣

3/26/2026 8:09am Well, that settles it. Nobody here has to talk about a Mondraker bike, either.

3/26/2026 7:49am Devinci just dropped their Canadian-made alloy Spartan. https://www.devinci.com/en/stories/product-launch/2026-spartan/ Top spec is priced at a very reasonable $5,999, it also comes with the newly updated 2027 Fox 38

3/26/2026 7:46am Cycling is gradually losing its traditional core audience and becoming more heterogeneous, which is generally a good thing. But with that shift comes a change in dynamics. As the market opens up, it also attracts more short-term, fast-moving consumer logic. Quick wins, quick products, quick margins. I’m not saying this specific product falls into that category. But this broader opening of the cycling industry inevitably pulls in brands that are less rooted in the sport itself. The kind of “our wallet is revolutionary” or “this key holder will change your life” products, solving problems that don’t really exist. So yes...

3/20/2026 1:45pm I think you’re wrong. There’s nothing they should share. The tr-11 has a straight head tube the bottle rocket doesn’t. The bottle rocket should be crazy progressive (the way the current tr-11 is like 41% or something stupid lol) am not sure on the progression for the bottle rocket but tr-11 won’t be this crazy progressive this time. The chainstays 100% are shorter on the bottle rocket too. Theres no way there gunna make the tr-11 short. They may look the same but they definitely are different enough to warrant two different frames otherwise they wouldn’t do it. My bet...

3/19/2026 8:16am No, look at the bridge with the topology optimized arch. Finally a damper that "sits higher in the travel", never heard of that before. Probably should end up at full lockout with how many times the iterations sat higher in the travel than the ones before

3/19/2026 8:06am This so much. Like many others (SC, especially), you usually get one fun color and one safe color. Here it is more blah on both ends. I will say, weight on s2 is pretty impressive for Forbidden. Claimed 2.27Kg/5lbs on S2, if Spur is 2.54Kg/5.5lbs on MD. Now to see if they do get any S4 frames in.
