Jackson’s DSQ had nothing to do with the poles themselves, other than the wind blowing him outside of them. If it had been tape instead, the same thing happens except he’s tangled up in tape too.

I have to admit, I do not love the side profile of some of the 32" bikes that are coming out. They end up looking like XS bikes with cramped triangles and kinked bottom/top tubes. Hopefully more progressive geo will enable these things to look like something other than a 2010-2012 era niner.

The website claims 50 miles of base range with 17 miles per day of solar, so that’s a 34% charge. For the 360Wh battery, 34% is 122Wh. Over the course of an 8 hour day that’s only ~15W of solar. With modern solar tech that honestly sounds conservative to me, as disgusting as this whole webpage is

Those 6 bar yeti bikes had reviewers gushing. I’ve had absolutely zero desire to try a switch infinity bike. If they follow through with 6bar non e-bikes I’ll be really trying to give them a shot.

As long as there are tacos around is all good. You can't go wrong with tacos, even bad tacos are better than no tacos. Bikes are just bonus items for tacos.

I find bracketing useful - to understand what an adjuster/variable does on a fork or a shock. They don‘t always do what it says on the knob. Or do what they say, but at the same time also influence something else. To get a feeling, bracketing is immensely useful. Coarse bracketing can work even for beginners. Open the rebound all the way, do a short section. Close it all the way. Repeat the section. Most should get some idea of rebound. And there is endless possibility to go from there. I think the issue is not being able to establish what the problem is because your riding isn’t consistent enough and therefore you don’t actually know what you are trying to fix. No one wants to try to problem solve a problem that they can’t even read. You shooting in the dark, unsure about the validity of potential solutions, and potentially don’t understand the complicated relationship between all the systems so you might actually end up fucking something up terribly. It’s not surprise many people don’t want to tinker.
