In honor of the 1000th page, we should vote on the best meme of 2025: 👍🏻 for “Crab” 👎🏻 for “6-7” edit: Carcinization is the antithesis of innovation. Maybe we should keep crab talk on the crab talk forum and keep this thread focused on MTB tech rumors and/or innovation.

The Fluid is, in my opinion, a bike that was almost completely ignored by consumers when it really shouldn't have been. I reviewed it for another site and it blew me away, and indeed others who rode it. A former colleague and I still regard it as one of the best trail bikes we've ever ridden. So much fun to...

Kind of crossing into the Bikeconomics thread, but what is "exciting" doesn't necessarily translate into sales and its sales the industry needs right now. RAAW, as mentioned, are making some awesome, solid, reliable bikes, but I bet they aren't selling crazy numbers. Likewise Frameworks, Actofive, Forbidden etc. I admire and get hyped by what all those brands are doing right...

Has anyone seen these pedals on Wyn's bike from Fort Bill before? The cleat binding looks very Shimano like, but I can't see any of their current pedals has a platform that shape? Seems like its extended at the back of the binding, for more support when dropping your heels, but then with less support up front? Pins on the...

My other half says she saw a (very quickly deleted) post yesterday... Think most will be surprised if what she saw is true!

100% Agree. Imagine walking into your local bike shop wanting to update your aging mondraker enduro bike. - Hello, I'm looking for a new enduro bike. - Ah yes, take a look at this Foxy. - No, sorry I must not have been clear, I want an enduro bike, like 160mm of travel, not a trail bike. -Foxy it is! Oh well, we call it the superfoxy now and it is 170/160mm. -Oh ok, sorry I didn't keep up with the name changes, but can I still get a Dune? -Of course sir, right this way, 170/165mm hard hitter, beautiful...

Thanks friend. I guess it was time to make an account after all, haha. To clarify a few things: - Yes, the title is abrasive, but I feel that I’ve justified that opinion in (too much) detail throughout the video. I’m not on YouTube to make money, considering I make less than C$4 RPM after tax. I also never pushed my resume/background in my video. - After I connected the rear brake, I cycled the pistons to probably 50% of what was recommended in the manual to ensure they were moving smoothly, which they were. I noticed minimal difference between...

Looks like the derailleur is the same as the current one, just with a new version of this old school hanger protector Spesh made back in the 2000's

https://www.instagram.com/p/CjOv2jWOAAg/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y%3D Got this linked to me. Looks like running a mismatched setup will be a PITA, even more so than Shimano brakes and Sram drivetrain. And bleeding might be a PITA too as it looks like it will be hard to clean up the fluid from between the reservoir and the handlebar. You're going to get spillage in there for sure... And like a comment on IG says, looks like they are optimised for internal routing Smile
