Maybe because the Jade is made at the SunTour factory, as the rest of the DVO products? I bought a SunTour TriAir a few years ago, and when I disassembled it to service it, the main piston wasn't anodized in SR Blue, but in DVO's signature green.

That's an awfully confident statement from someone with little or no experience operating a company with large scale outsourced production, overseas or domestic. Care to share a factual example? Also what and who is a 'marketing type brand?' Last I checked the bike industry is collection of honest brands, riders, and designers trying their best to make products of value or improve the experience and enjoyment of other cyclists. Of course they also have to market and advertise if they want to stay in business, but both realities can coexist. You're the NZ distributer for Hayes/Manitou and operate a suspension...

Commencal have the new M2S bikes in stock in limited sizes here in Canada, got passed by two of them on the climb this week, also got passed by one of the new Teewings but 99% sure it was the distributor guy on one of his demo bikes.

Dear Dougal, I know your favorite past time is to shit on the hard engineering work of people and then yell at them when they try to engage you in good faith arguments. I get that you are also trying to be helpful, and probably mean less malice than it comes across over the internet because, frankly, the internet is a shithole of everyone yelling at each other. But Vital has been a space that seems to have remained a refuge of reasonability despite everything else falling to click and rage bate. I am glad Vital is not the pinkbike...

A 32"/27,5" is basically a full 29".

They do. Scott makes terrible bikes. They're a nightmare to work on, fail at multiple points and the finishing touches are utter garbage.

It's a pretty rad system. My Vessel dh bike has 16mm of r/c adjustment in 3mm increments with an 8mm bb height adjustment that is independent of any suspension kinematics due to BB system design. It fun to mess with this stuff and not have it impact other areas of performance. Truely isolating the variables, as best as possible that is. Really help to hammer home how much the fc/rc bias really impacts the bikes ability to turn even if the wb is pushing 1350mm

Wormholes are the ultimate French-line, imagine Rick losing his mind on the live broadcast when you come through a split 2 hours before your start time. I'm available as a technical consultant next season if any World Cup team managers are lurking this thread.

I know those have some actual heft to them but the fact they are stick-on is giving me flashbacks to when some pros were running those anti-vibration "crystals" aka stickers on their bikes.

DHR2 for sure rolls faster then an assegai or hr3. The maxx grip dhr2 as a front tire does many of the same things well that the hr3 does well, to a slightly lesser extent and a faster rolling feel. I know it sounds crazy, but the 2.4 mg dhr2 is a slept on front tire for a 150ish trail bike. Now that the g2 dissector is out and available in mg... it would be tough to make a case for the dhr2 as a front, but if you're committing to side knobs well, the dhr2 will bite better once...
