Didnt the amazon ceo guy say they were fine aslong as they could sell full price? I think What ultimately took them down was that at some point they needed cash and the pe guys said no more. So they had to do discounts and the customers got used to only buy at discounts as they were almost always at...

If you haven’t already, check out Vital’s latest PIT BITS for a quick overview of Reece’s particular setup. While there is a lot of interesting tech on Reece’s bike, one defining feature is the prototype raised reversed stem manufactured by Be More Bikes. Reece combines this stem with high rise bars to create a tall stack with reduced reach. This allows Reece to extend at the hips more, creating a tall, upright riding posture. However, doing this causes his center of mass to shift backward, disrupting the front-to-rear weight balance on the wheels. To counteract this and redistribute weight back...

Thank you all for the interest in our bikes and in our distribution / sales model. To give you a bit of context, we’re currently a team of 9 people at RAAW, based in Germany, and we ship worldwide directly from here. The US has actually grown into our biggest market after Germany, which is pretty wild considering that every RAAW in the US has been shipped individually from Germany. Our goal is, of course, to make the ordering process and ownership experience as easy as possible. Having stock in the US would be ideal, but that comes with a...

I feel like I can finally add input to this thread. I have just about every flavor of Maven's in my fleet and I just got the chance to try out the b1. I have a set of expert a1 (on my nomad 6), bronze a1 (on my ebike) and base that I just converted to b1's with a silver lever assembly (on my ht4 trail bike). I am also trying out a set of maven base levers with db8 calipers at the moment on a weird ultra light trail bike experiment build... but that's a story for a different...

Been riding the 180mm dual crown on the enduro bike since the late fall now. I don't see myself going back anytime soon. Ran my old SC fork at 170 then 180mm for a while. The 180 dual sets the A2C back down to closer to the 170mm length and rides better then the 180mm sc. I don't notice the weight and its the first time I've been totally satisfied with the suspension performance and feel on the front of the pedal bike. For any enduro bike type application I don't see myself doing anything different. I wish they made...
