The obvious answer to a two bike garage dilemma is a larger garage. Sheesh. Your decision is mad by deciding if you prefer to overbike or underbike. I’ll take underbike 9 times out of 10, so it’s an hardtail (with sliders for SS when I want) that does everything from the pump track, commute, and 50 mile trail or gravel...

Spectator friendly is irrelevant. Bicycle ballet is as spectator friendly as it gets - even more than BMX or slalom, and 3/4 of you are going to google it to see what it is. The Tour de France is as spectator unfriendly as it gets and thousands flock to it, in hopes of spending 7 seconds watching the racers whizz...

Not a rumors and speculation but team dynamics. Finn and Jordan having their best seasons in years whilst Loic is out. What does it mean?
I typically use the climb switch once per ride. I like to turn it on halfway up the climb when I remember I have it and might as well use it. I tend to turn it off halfway down the descent when I’m puzzling over why my suspension isn’t working. I suspect I am not in the minority.
Depends how much you want to travel. Ascutney, Waterbury, kingdom trails, and Stowe Vermont. Are all worth traveling to. As is Conway NH. Western Massachusetts has Thunder mtn bike park in charlemont. Batchelor street and earls trails in Amherst/granby. Pittsfield state forest and Lenox. Ludlow.

Aventon is cool in my book. Sponsoring Tippie and Angel and making a quality, reasonably priced ebike. Sounds better than one more super posh boutique brand making a product that costs five figures.
Gonna be a dick and point out that if you run smaller than a 32t, you don’t need a power meter, you need a gym. Edit: it’s not my opinion, just an uncomfortable matter of fact for why they don’t make power meters for 30t rings. I’m sure there are exceptions, like people riding fully loaded 87lb touring bikes who...
I was an early adopter of 29. Will not be adopting 32, except maybe a gravel bike. Took about 15 years for geometry to get properly sorted on 29. It’ll go a bit faster this time, so the real question, if these take off, is what’s going to happen in 2035-2040? Will 26 return or are we staring down 36?

Dang then those woods sections are going to be slow and tricky. I like it. I was just guessing based on the video being 6 minutes and half of it being no riding and the riders pace being slow. Big fan of the lower speed technical tracks.

Looks cool - raw, old school, homegrown feel to it. those woods sections will turn into sniper rock gardens and clever taping will make for tricky corners. Suspect this will be a sub 2 minute course though, and some of those jumps may need to be embigened. But it’s just nice seeing something new.

Why not get a Madrone instead of a bunch derailleurs that require a lot of maintainance and not even working that well spending the same if not more for something much weaker, soft
