There's a couple interesting things going on here. First, we haven't seen a long travel single crown 32" fork yet, only Neko's loctite-miracle 32" DH fork and the various spindly 32" XC forks. But here it looks like maybe a Fox 36 with 140mm of travel? Maybe?

Also, when Neko ran the 32"/29" mega mullet at Sea Otter, he was runnings the absolute lowest profile Conti rear tire he could to sneak it past the seatstay and chainstay bridges without rubbing. But on this model, the normally all black carbon seatstay is half silver and half black, making me wonder if there's something special going on to make it longer for the 32" rear wheel. Could just be silver spray paint on a stock black carbon stay, but I'm guessing it's a 3D printed aluminum dropout assembly with a lugged end bonded to half of a stock Frameworks carbon seatstay to make room for that rear wheel with a real tire on it. That could also allow them to mess with the axle position and BB height, too.

But let me know what you think.

"Hidden a little deeper on the Intend website is the new Edge 32″ Enduro fork. This fork is currently only available “for B2B sales for framebuilders/bike companies.” Still, it’s pretty exciting to see a production, inverted, longer-travel 32″ enduro fork, and it’s a sure sign that we’ll be seeing more 32″ prototypes and experimentation in the longer travel brackets.

Details are a bit sparse for the Edge 32″ fork, but what we do know is that it is available in 140 to 170mm travel lengths in 10mm increments. It can be ordered with 15mm or 20mm dropouts/axle diameters, and mounts for 180mm or 203mm rotors. The retail price is listed at €1,679.83."

that was in january...

I said "we haven't seen a long travel single crown 32" fork yet," and I can see how that might have been unclear.

What I meant to communicate was "Gee, that black RSU fork sure doesn't look like a Fox 32 or Neko's crazy loctite Fox 40, which are the only 32" Fox forks we've seen so far. I wonder what RSU fork that is. It sure looks like a Fox, and it could even be a dedicated long travel single crown 32" fork from Fox, which would be newsworthy because 32" bikes and products from the big brands like Fox and Rockshox have been relegated to XC or light trail applications so far." Frameworks is, after all, sponsored by Fox.

Respectfully, this:

Does not look like this:

The new Edge 32″ enduro fork, while undeniably cool and exciting, doesn't answer my question about what's on the front of Neko's bike.

Anyone know anything about the new Fox Ridge suspension? Seen a post on EMTBF about the new fuel+

Im afraid is going to be some garbage fork below the rhythm series

Like the AWOL or something similar on the cheap Amflows

Big if true. All the high end American brands (Ibis, Transition, SC, Yeti) other than Pivot have snubbed Avinox for now. My SC dealer says nothing he knows of in the pipeline for an Avinox bike, which is baffling if true.

Santa Cruz owners club email just went out with Elliot Jackson riding a "Vala Lite". Looks like same Vala just with a gram-counting light build. Thought I was on Specialized's website for a second. Carcinisation continues.

Vala Lite is in their line up already at least for the last 6 months. The email seems to be just about the video given the fact they run a lot of sales on their ebikes recently.

That's because no matter how they try to swing it, the Vala just hasn't been selling. No one asks about it or the bullit when talking ebikes in the shop I work at, most people ask about the Orbea Wild or Norco Sight and Range VLT, even the Aventon Current has more interest around it, but that's probably due to the price.

Couple insights

Yeti MT coming very soon. Some shops already have them

New Specialized enduro coming. My guess is march/april 2027. Apparently specialized believes it will sell better than the stumpy 15 which was one of there best selling bikes. No clue on design, just being told it’s coming

Is that Hush as in "is quiet" or as in "be quiet"?

Considering the seeming pullback of the enduro category and adoption of ebikes this would surprise me. Color me interested, would love to see sales numbers for specialized or another big company

Hoping it is really isn't going to be more expensive than the Demo frame. At least from a friend who saw a prototype in a bike park in America's hat, it wasn't fully the same design, so that may be slightly cheaper. But I bet it is still developed with SRAM/RockShox since they took over the whole Genie production and design.

I do miss my S4 enduro a bit, even though I wouldn't really ride it much since the trails here aren't much plus my dh bike for most bike park adventures.

Is a "We are one" made convergence rim? Are all the I9 carbon rims made by "We are one" at this point?

There will be other brands that previously had no Avinox powered e-bikes coming into the space in 2027. Not a very new idea as many brands are offering something now, but for the brands you mentioned specifically.

I believe they are all made by WAO at this point, but I could be wrong. I think they took over the production of all the carbon wheels at least.

I heard the Yeti MT is being released on the 25th.  It can’t come soon enough, I’ve held off on buying 3 different frames over the last few weeks hoping the Yeti will be “the one.”

With the release of the I9 32" wheels it looks like ARI helped with the new 32" bike for the promo.

Is WR1 still made in Canada?

I recently got a new rim that replaces "made in Canada" with  "North American made". Stoked on the actual rim and warranty, but I'd hate to see it move production down to the reich

Yes, all rim production is still in Kamloops.

I'm curious if this is some combination of the time it takes to develop a product, and the influx of state laws that may restrict the sale of any e-bike with a max power over 750W. The new laws likely won't kick in for a while (2027 in CA I think) but product development timelines are slower. We'll see if any of these new laws allow for a software e-fence on power. I'm guessing most won't, since they are likely defeatable.

Man I hope that the new enduro sells super well, I couldn't care less about specialized but if a non ebike in that travel range sells well it should wake the industry up that there is actually demand for those bikes.

Can pretty much bet on transition having a DJI motor sooner rather than later.   My guess is with a “repeater”?

Yeah he posted the wrong pic but you'd have to be huffing glue to think the Kona Remote X holds a candle to the Amflow PX.

I'm guessing the Kona weighs at least 5 pounds heavier, worse geo (IMO), less power, and far worse industrial design.

Would love to see Kona succeed but if they survived bankruptcy to produce the Remote X for $6899 they've got a tough road ahead.

So many bikes out there, Kona wouldn’t be my first choice butt whatever.

I hope it sells better than the Stumpy 15 for their sake. Big Red "updated" the Stumpy Evo — which really didn't need updating — and made a proprietary shock nobody wanted.
