Will be really cool to see what Steve comes up with - I implored him to make sure the damper first in an inverted chassis!

If it works like they claim they’ll be beating Vorsprung to the punch in fork dampers. Steve stated in the latest podcast with Remy that the fork damper they’re working on is aiming to have similar tune-ability as the Telum.

Introducing the ZETA Damping Cartridge by SIMONS.LAB Externally adjustable compression and rebound tunes, Hydraulic Bottom-Out packaged in a drop-in cartridge design: ZETA is now available for FOX 38, RockShox ZEB and Intend upside-down suspension forks. Many riders know the situation: changes to the compression or rebound damping do not produce the desired effect on the trail, or an improvement in one area comes with noticeable compromises elsewhere. This is often caused by the predefined internal base tune found in conventional suspension forks. External adjusters can fine-tune this base tune, but they cannot fundamentally change it. If the tune does not...

Love to see bigger thicker rotors are getting more and more common! To anyone with older shimano calipers, contrary to what people may say online - they will fit thicker rotors. I was lead to believe id only be able to fit 2mm thick rotors in my Deore M6120's, but I am happily running some 2.3mm TRP's without any issues. The only thing you might need to do, is slap a bleed cup on the lever bleed port, and then push the pistons into the caliper as much as possible, close up the bleed port, reinstall the pads and you...

Why doesn’t someone just make a weighted insert that fits into a hollow spindle? Could play with weights and even take it out if it’s not needed

Meh at the pressures I run my Schwalbe radials I do have exceptional traction and more than enough support 🤷🏼‍♂️ And stuff with tall knobs like the Mary, with the more compliant chasing feels more precise and less vague overall than the same tyre with the regular casing On natural wet or dry, off camber, wet or dry, I find...

It's interesting, I don't find the rolling resistance to be wildly different for trail riding. While standard casing tires feel more snappy, I would posit that it's really just a "feeling" because my times are similar given similar compounds, tread patterns, etc. Where I really notice it is on jump lines - I have to work quite a bit more to clear things with the radials vs standard casings. Could be a skill issue. 😄 My educated guess is any increased rolling resistance is partially offset by the ability of the tire to not be knocked off line. It's also...

I want max grip for riding off camber flat out. Schwalbe Radials are next level for natural terrain. If you want support and durability then stick to regular tyres.

That Alltricks website is horrible. Can’t tell if you’re ordering flats vs clips. Looks like 2fo dh not roost, right?

Yes, that has been known for a while Intend specifically makes a fork, and has done for probably 5 years, that accepts a sid damper/cartridge. (I believe I even posted about it here 1+ year ago) And mounting the flight attendant module requires only some filing to remove like 1mm of material from the FA control unit. Mounting it to a fox fork however, is not something i've seen before, and not sure how it works. And if you've looked at a flight attendant module, its also not very easy to understand how someone would fit it to a fox...

Pretty sure they are pulling out of the gravity side, still making road and XC shoes. I just ordered 2 pairs of the 2FO Roost flats, had to order from 2 shops as each only had 1 in my size left. Got a couple partially used pairs at home. They are so much better than Freerider pro for me. Gonna suck having to find a new shoe when my supply runs out.

Specialized 2FO flat shoes seem to be out of stock everywhere. Is revised version due? Or have they pulled out of the shoe game after being a legit contender/improvement to 5.10s? Apologies if I've missed an announcement from them, but various searches didn't give me anything...

I like the idea, but would that much weight only being on one side cause issues? I think 5Dev's solution is the most elegant, personally

I've been waiting on Session frame for warranty replacement since December 2025. Word is that the Session frames were embroiled in this whole forced labour dispute and are therefore stuck sitting in a shipping container in port somewhere. First, Trek said they'd deliver the replacement session in February Then that was delayed to May. Then that was delayed to November. Then that was delayed until "Sometime in 2027".... Needless to say, this was pretty ridiculous, so they ended up giving me a Marlin+ e-bike instead of the Session frame. And I'm now in the market for a new DH frame.
