ouch. well i guess I'll try something else next time then.?. maybe standard skf over the dual compound is the winner? yeah those poor things are always stuffed with syrup when i take them apart. definitely a reduction lately. but remember that 23 and earlier era? soup city 🤣 one time i had a guy come in (expert level rider) wanting to buy a fork because his was squeaking & rattling (factory 38, maybe 7mo old). and yes his fork was actually rattling with play in the lowers. it had absolutely no oil in the air side lowers. thankfully no...

here comes a bomb of a reply... LOL just did my first service on my Flash 35 BL this week. had it since last September. I've noticed it gets pretty grimey where the seal flanges are, but I always wipe it off. my guess is because the film strength of supergliss being crazy high- it allows oil (stuck to stanchions) passed the seals over time/heat when riding- then they attracts dirt. probably could've left it and just changed oil but still wanted to pop new seals in. I had a little back and forth on what seals to use, OE...

I have 2 bikes with flash 35 and no problems with headset cups coming loose. Been using hopetech headsets and CK headsets and both works fine and not coming loose with intend forks.

Thanks for the info. I was too fearful of being disappointed with this aspect and the Flash 38 is like half a pound heavier, so I went with the G2 Mezzer LT instead with all of the stiffness but enjoy reading about ya'lls real world experiences. Thanks again!

Finally got time on my 38 flash from my 35. Yep, there's a good difference in torsional stiffness. Wonderful. Steering is more precise and direct and whilst I didn't specifically test for brake induced torsional load I'm going to assume that's not such a thing anymore. Still really rate the 35, you can't go wrong with either tbh.

I havent seen any reviews or tests where intend, fox and push were pitched against each other. That would really interesting to see how all the kings of the usd would compare to each other.

As said each to their own. Sorry you feel that way. I'm here for information and sharing mtb stuff especially intend related stuff as I own a 35 and soon a 38. Ai product or not.. try making one yourself.. not as easy as you think. A little marketing for a product I like and co-own, nothing wrong with that...

Being lighter probably helps with flexing less in all the parts. Could also be that you need to be pro racer to notice any difference and we normal riders just like to talk about feeling the difference😁😁 But we shalll see. I Can update this topic with the difference between flash 35 15mm and 38 with 20mm axle when the...

I mist be a minority here because i have ridden my intend 35 fork with a cheap non branded hub, dt swiss hubs and currently bontrager hubs and i cant tell or feel a difference in flex. I also ride a 38 and i can tell a difference in performance but not in flexion. At one point im unsire if all this feel has alot to do with where you put your mind at. If you plant a thought like it could flex you will more likely feel it flex. Im just stoked when i get to ride. I do...

Aah yes now I see the point. Thanks this was informative. I need send my 240 back.. have not even received it yet so I can go with another front hub that has longer bearing axle. ----------------------- Need a place to store your suspension tunes or keep track of parts maintenance forecasts? https://MTB-Tracker.com

So what is a good a hub these days for usd fork, the article did not say or recommend this? No need to start calling people dumb, not a mature way to go in that route. Just for reference I got the point of article without AI:s help. So the pinch bolts and binding is something that I have not...
