Or maybe people are reacting to your lack of respect for their time. You’ve added a signature to every one of your posts advertising your AI coded product in a forum where almost no one uses a signature so it’s basically spam. When you asked a technical question and were given resources that answered your question in great detail written by an industry subject matter expert you used AI to read it for you and it gave you a wrong answer which others had to correct. People are putting time into knowledge sharing and you’re here just slop-posting which is why we’re are annoyed.

As said each to their own. Sorry you feel that way. I'm here for information and sharing mtb stuff especially intend related stuff as I own a 35 and soon a 38. Ai product or not.. try making one yourself.. not as easy as you think.
A little marketing for a product I like and co-own, nothing wrong with that. No need to click the link. It is a free forum for posting stuff. If not moderators ban me. Come on stop acting up and be kind to a fellow rider.
I havent seen any reviews or tests where intend, fox and push were pitched against each other. That would really interesting to see how all the kings of the usd would compare to each other.
Finally got time on my 38 flash from my 35. Yep, there's a good difference in torsional stiffness. Wonderful.
Steering is more precise and direct and whilst I didn't specifically test for brake induced torsional load I'm going to assume that's not such a thing anymore.
Still really rate the 35, you can't go wrong with either tbh.

Thanks for the info.
I was too fearful of being disappointed with this aspect and the Flash 38 is like half a pound heavier, so I went with the G2 Mezzer LT instead with all of the stiffness but enjoy reading about ya'lls real world experiences.
for those of you with Intend forks: For sure a long shot but, i've noticed my lower headset Cup is slowly turning a bit, other than frame tolerances i was trying to think what else could be causing that, i'm on a Industry Nine Headset and the crown race is a split type, that does not need to be pressed at all, fits almost loose into the steerer tube, so far it didn't cause any wear on the steerer tube, and it's nicely sealed so everything was still clean and greasy with no moisture or anything else, the other thing i remember noticing when building the bike is that "slot" in the crown on the Edge, i'm thinking what if the combination of"loose"crown race + the crown design ( i really don't understand what's the point of that slot ) is causing the crown race to bind and bend into the slot causing the whole crown to go too close to the headset cup causing it to move, any thoughts? did it happen to anyone? i only noticed as i pressed in the cup with the industry nine logos on the side and i could see they moved in relation to the ridewrap cutouts if anyone has any clue i'd love to hear some thoughts

How hard was it to press the cup in initially? There's no way a proper interference fit headset cup should be able to rotate so either the fit is too loose or something has happened thats made the fit looser

Just noticed I’d didn’t even post the picture damn
Anyway, not super hard but not soft either, I’d say normal?

What bike it's on can also be valuable info. Mine and a couple friends bikes (same brand) have had very loose headset cups that were able to be pushed in by hand. Some bikes are more prone to headset cups issues than others.

I have 2 bikes with flash 35 and no problems with headset cups coming loose.
Been using hopetech headsets and CK headsets and both works fine and not coming loose with intend forks.
Thanks you all, I guess it could be something else then, now that I got along with the fork I like it even better than at the beginning, it’s like a trophy truck but with heaps of support
Unless I missed it I think its interesting that there has not been an article comparing the forks. I think would like to see one with a Fox, Push and Intend.

bike mags are poor and intend don’t offer test samples

Curious about this one but heavy as a brick like Push and Podium
Right, not a trail fork by any means. It will replace an Avalanche hybrid coil 36 which is about the same weight but with less travel and crappy chassis.
I’m running Trickstuff Maxima non-braided on my Flash 35’s without issue. Pretty sure you can’t run braided on USD forks as the hose bunches up between the guides (also feels like a zip when compressing the fork because of the texture).

Everything looks normal in that pic. @jonathanheierle is my resident Intend expert and his forks looks the same?

no problems either with f35/38. the former was in an adjustable, headset in a ksl, the later in a angleset from works components

Intend was technically there but not tested.
Looks like this newcomer will be here soon

Atleast it’s 38mm stanchions, makes the weight feel a little more justified.
Right, not a trail fork by any means. It will replace an Avalanche hybrid coil 36 which is about the same weight but with less travel and crappy chassis.
Is anyone running trickstuff brakes with braided hoses on their USD fork? Any mods required or does it work as is?
I’m running Trickstuff Maxima non-braided on my Flash 35’s without issue. Pretty sure you can’t run braided on USD forks as the hose bunches up between the guides (also feels like a zip when compressing the fork because of the texture).
You can always put a smooth tube over the hose where it runs through the guides. I think that's what they do with MX bikes?
Yeah I just put that spiral cable wrap over the braided line, worked fine.
Yes, I have seen dorados with a plastic transparent tube between the two cable holders, using braided hoses
That’s what I’ve done,
Plastic then from AliExpress 6mm od x 5mm id
Would be really cool to read an USD fork shootout to compare all of these interesting options.
