7/25/2026 7:40pm Not sure if this was discussed previously, but it looks like the XD Slim driver allows you to run a 157mm hub (and get the benefits of wider flanges) on a 148mm frame... https://www.oneupcomponents.com/products/rear-hub-157x12 Another nail in the coffin for 157mm rear ends.

7/25/2026 5:26pm Luca, Richie, Asa, Pinkerton, Maples, Gwin if he has a good day, Cannonball Bode Burke if he can finish his run, and many more who legitimately have the chance to win like Austin, Dante, Medcalf, Kitchen, Suetos, Nik, etc- is this the most competitive senior men's USA national champs since the 90's or eeeeeearly 2000's? And I'm sure I'm forgetting someone important in my list.

7/21/2026 1:02pm First off the Vanth is a sick bike. I would love to ride one at some point, but it doesn’t really make sense for an enduro race bike or daily trail riding from what I have gathered. The drag, weight and in the Vanths case reliability doesn’t me itching to grab one if I were to go enduro racing. Huge...

7/20/2026 8:56pm Here's my experience on the new Maven B1 I decided to try out the B1 Mavens after my Radics started losing pressure (both side MC bores had scratches). I previously had a set of maven A1's last season, but decided to go with the Radics due to them feeling better in the stand (I nerd out on my bike more than I ride it). I've always used steel brake hoses with the Mavens that Radic uses. This is just due to them looking way cooler, there's zero noticeable difference in feel compared to original Sram hoses. I've also only used...

7/20/2026 8:48pm Just came across Mads Petersen (Danish road biking pro) saying he washes his helmet in the dishwasher on the gentle program. Got really curious about how this could affect the performance and life of the plastic. He says he does a 45-50 degree C program, which I felt was quite hot?? Or maybe it's totally fine they can easily get that hot in the sun as well I guess. Could it work for knee pads as well? Link for anyone interested: https://youtu.be/fIi7pCR3-so?si=UbeTAb-nps37rSbU&t=2283

7/20/2026 8:48pm This seems like a terrible idea. It's not even safe to wash many dishes, pots, pans, and knives in a dishwasher. If anodized aluminum frying pans get pitted in a dishwasher, I'll pass on putting my helmet in there. Also a single dishwasher cycle uses anywhere between 3-5 gallons of water per cycle, or even as much as 10 gallons for an old model (although I suspect Mads isn't using a dishwasher from 1995). But even if it's three gallons, that's an insane amount of water to wash a bike helmet.

7/20/2026 9:18pm This is sweet! College student myself and don't any downcountry parts but excited to see how this bike turns out! Send some pictures of the process if you can!

7/20/2026 8:38pm Hi Everyone! I'm a young college student working towards building my own full suspension mountain bike. The style is that of a modern down country bike, but it's costly. All my money currently is going into the raw material and fabrication process of the frame, but I need more than that so that it can sit on two wheels. I'm reaching out to see if anyone would be kind enough to donate any extra parts they may have laying around. Literally anything helps: Bottom brackets, handlebars, handle grips, brake levers, rotors, headsets, hubs, a front chain ring, pedals, the bolts...

7/20/2026 8:38pm Sounds like a cool project, and no doubt that bike parts are stupid expensive. If you're going to get any sort of useful help here, I'd recommend adding the specs of your bike here, i.e. are you looking for a threaded 73mm BSA bottom bracket, a BB30 press fit, a Pressfit BB92 bottom bracket, etc. It would be a bummer if people mailed you parts you couldn't use, and I know I have trouble picking out the right parts for my bike even when I have the bike in hand. Helpful info: Bottom bracket standard/dimensions Head tube standard/dimensions Front and...

7/20/2026 8:31am Him being even top 5 on a Vanth is a win in my book haha. Lief and Evan are at such a disadvantage for Enduro I sometimes feel bad.
