Something I noticed today, On the Santa Cruz bike archive the 5010 is not listed as a current model, just up to 2025. I haven't heard anything about it being discontinued from my SC rep, but none of the other current models are marked like that in the archive.

I posted this in the Suspension Component Technology thread but I thought it would be worthy of a post here. It's the designer of Yeti's Sixfinity talking about a bunch of different suspension designs, the engineering thought behind each, and talks about some specifics that a lot of other suspension chat sort of ignores or intentionally leaves out. He also mentions that the Four Bar Flex Stay works really well for an ASR and the Sixfinity works really well for longer-travel bikes. He also talks a bit about the Switch Infinity. Not sure if this was discussed previously, but it looks like the XD Slim driver allows you to run a 157mm hub (and get the benefits of wider flanges) on a 148mm frame... https://www.oneupcomponents.com/products/rear-hub-157x12 Another nail in the coffin for 157mm rear ends.
