One of my buddies who rides for Banshee says there are a bunch of new frames coming out this year. Didn't have any details around what's being updated/changed or what's new, but they're coming.

Ok, at least one of you guys must have ridden the Reya by know, right? I’m still desperately curious about it, but I have no avenue to try one unless I buy it outright or take a flight.

TRP DHR evo lever / Maven Base update. I set these up with maxima mineral oil and Shimano BH90 hose, and just a simple Shimano style bleed cup bleed after pushing oil through the lines. I also did a comprehensive piston massage procedure. I did one shuttle day on the setup, and impressions are that this combination is quite good. The lever stroke is very acceptable, bite point feels well defined and does not wander or pump out at all, and the maven power is also there. Good modulation, as you would expect from TRP lever. I've got the stock...

Both for me. They get louder as they break in when coasting as well as make a little thud noise when engaging.

And they are correct. If you however adjust the contact adjuster clockwise you can close off the timing port holes, effectively making the brake a closed system, proven when you can't push fluid through the system. The experiences on this forum show others having turned the contact adjust too far and caused the above issue. I experimented on the last set I installed and yep, You can close the timing port holes and then turn it counterclockwise to get the fluid to flow through again. And yes, the caliper pistons adjust for pad wear by design, a fundamental of disc...

Reply from Hayes: " The bite point does not effect bleed and does not need to be reset. You don't need to adjust bite point as pads wear - the system advances the pads as needed."
