I'm really happy to see Men's Junior Nathan DeVaux starting 5th tomorrow after going 4th in timed training. I had never heard of him until I recently watched the short documentary Dyfi Groms about the young mountain bikers and their families in the Dyfi Valley community. Surely not every bike fits everyone, but I do think people freak out over mere millemeters when the fact is - you can get used to just about anything. Its just fucking bikes. I've got an XL GT Fury with 515 reach & 70mm bars: best DH bike I've ever had in 20+ years... a 2019 YT capra with 480 reach and 50mm bars: super fun, still going strong. Hard disagree. I use my e-bike to self shuttle up fire roads and down DH trails where the motor doesn't even kick on when I don't have time for a multi-hour epic on the pedal bike. In that context more power is in fact more better.

It depends on why you're so salty. Bad nutrition? You're probably fine but your hydration will be lacking. Bad attitude? You'll be pissing everyone off enough that they'll be dried out, too.

Iirc they use the product as shipped, as it's much more relevant than people mix and matching which doesn't happen on stock bikes. It's one of the better brake tests done, sorry it's not to your standards. I had meetings in Les gets with five teams, YT being one and I'll start by saying that Gunnar Franke (Team Manager) is one of the best guys in the pits running a great team with awesome riders and staff. However we (Nukeproof) don't have the budget to go from 'no team' to one of the best, and highest budget teams in the pits when today we are not even selling any bikes. on the point 4... my best fork to date is an Infinity EN.. dual crown enduro.. with it's flimsy 35mm stanchions still super stiff.. got it last july (2024)... serviced it a month ago...it was flawless..continues to be..
