In addition to coming back to gravity racing with Team Axess, Nukeproof will also join the XC World Cup circus now as part of Team KMC. We'd say this makes perfect sense, as the Nukeproof brand is far more likely to capitalize and convert on the MTB buzz in XC now (a discipline that is getting gnarlier and more fun to watch with each passing year) than Ridley. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nukeproof to go XC racing with Team KMC Nukeproof KMC will remain the main and title sponsor for the coming years on our road to the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games...

Intense Factory Racing has been updated to Nukeproof Axess Racing on British Cycling Website: https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/clubpoints?club_id=9861 Their IG has changed as well: https://www.instagram.com/nukeproof_axess_racing/ This should confirm it! They will most likely be on RockShox too

Facts from the Rumor forum: Nukeproof wants to stay true to its UK roots. Doesn't want to spend the money on a big team with flashy truck. New rider has luscious locks. There are two small (no truck or blue US school bus) UK based teams with Rider/Owners, but only one has long hair. Could we see a Nukeproof camper van pit set up?

Wyn has some luscious locks and uses laces, except he's almost always wearing a hat and signed by Focus... ChatGPT had a difficult time when I asked for pro DH racers with luscious locks, but I learned that Ratboy once rocked them.

My hunch is that to fund Dak's 2026 on Frameworks racing, you'd have to crowdfund at least $250,000 to cover his salary, mechanics salary, travel, food and accom for both plus extras. Big question rumor wise though, are Frameworks looking to expand? More American talent, a junior to replace Asa? Another elite male?

That would be really cool, I’d love it. I wonder how much money you would actually have to raise to cover a top rider for year including salary, travel/accommodation, equipment, support/mechanic, etc?

I’ve been surprised for awhile there’s not a crowdfunded racing team. Put a bunch of fan fave riders on a fan fave team and watch magic happen like it did when Moir, Dean Lucas, and Charlie Harrison were together on Intense. Would pitch in a few hundred bucks for Frameworks or Gwin Racing to pick up Dak. Surely there’s a bunch of folks willing to do similar. Could do it under the auspices of Vital Racing
