6/29/2026 10:48am I was at Eurobike last week and was really curious about the Stablead products, specially their suspensions. It looks really well made, I was checking their enduro inverted fork and saw it had a USB-C port. The guy at the stand said it was for an electronic damper. All forks would come with the USB port so you could upgrade to electronics even if you buy a traditional fork. They said the plan to release was for beginning 2027. Other than that, I couldn't find anything interesting apart from the whole Gobao/Avinox CVT madness, really curious to try them.

6/28/2026 10:50pm I've got a bit of time on the Butcher and Eliminator on my Enduro bike and they're legit. I'm coming off of Conti Kryptos and they definitely feel more grippy, I immediately felt the difference in the radial casing as soon as I had them on, the Conti's felt almost wooden in comparison. I was concerned about the Eliminator out back being it's more of a trail bike tire but they're seriously impressive, testing them out with some hard stops on flatter loose / dusty trails I had expected them to slip and drift like my Kryptos but they just...

6/24/2026 9:39am While they're saying this is a test, they added the bolt holes for the idler on all production frames. I couldn't figure out what these were for, until today. Makes me think this "concept" is coming sooner than folks are letting on.

6/24/2026 9:36am Gearboxes have always had drag issues. E-bikes have always had drivetrain issues This was inevitable and makes a ton of sense really … Ironically, the newest talaria’s espouse their bad ass gearbox’s too. Pegs or pedals? You choose.

6/23/2026 2:34pm Is it just me or do DH casing Conti Kryptotals last 5x longer than Maxxis in the bike park? I'm currently on 20+ park days and these tires still have life in them. I don't think I'll ever buy another Maxxis tire.

6/22/2026 9:51am The new vented rotors look sick. I wonder if they work with the Tech4 V4, (I know they mentioned it was developed specifically for the v6ti), but the tech 4 v4 was the last brake to support the 3.3mm vented rotor spec. Seems the newer GR4 and TR4s dropped that.

iceman2058 Liked a forum topic Hope Introduces 6-Piston Brake for Big Bikes Only
6/22/2026 7:38am Hope's history with 6-piston brakes for mountain biking goes back to 2003, when the one-piece Mono 6 Ti was first introduced. It had a relatively short life, dropping from the catalogue in 2007 as 4-piston brakes become the norm. Hope also brought a 6-piston prototype to the World Cup with Adam Brayton in 2017 and 2018, but it never made it through to production for various reasons. Fast-forward to the present day, and Hope is finally ready to bring their biggest (and probably baddest) brakes to date to the mass-market. We say mass-market, but for now the initial run will...

6/20/2026 12:34pm With how sensitive 1x derailleurs became to misalignment of the hanger, it makes sense to beef up the mount. Either do it directly (transmission) or the way 8pins does it. Frames are also much stronger today than they were before, especially if you have an UDH mount.
