I think it goes without saying that the torsional stiffness of a fork on a whole is a function of many things. The only point was that, assuming the same material, there isn’t a magic 15 mm axle that’s stiffer than a 20 mm axle. Yes the hub adds to the torsional rigidity of the axle. If you had the same exact hub layout, the 20 mm version would add more stiffness than the 15 mm version. 3/18/2026 6:43am One of the problems with Forbidden I keep hearing about is seat post insertion depth. Those pictures dont look too promising for much of an improvement. Looks like a sick bike otherwise. if I hadn't just built up a smuggler this would probably be near the top of the list.

I dont really watch much of the YouTube stuff anymore , used to watch BKXC stuff and Mctrail rider and the odd video of some of the others but it feels like from a sponsorship perspective there are a lot less YouTube riders with bike brand deals now .
